i was in school and i had some sketches back at my apartment that i wanted to get. the weather was crazy. tornado warnings etc. i got tired of waiting and decided to make a go of it since my apartment was only a mile or so away. sure enough about 1/2 way there i watched the sky turn from gray to brown (from dirt being pulled up from the ground). the trees were blowing sideways. sand and dust were blowing like crazy. i turned the car around and hauled ass back to school. i had trouble pressing the gas pedal because my foot was jumping so bad. scared the shit out of me. by the time i got back to school the wind had stopped and the radio said that a tornado was on the ground in the next town over.
