i was looking at the same cars.
audi a4 3.o
infinity g35 sedan
bmw 330c
saab 93 vector
volvo s40after pricing them all, comparing engines, options and performance i bought a chrysler 300c and have since smoked the living hell out of every middle aged man who has pulled up along-side in their higher priced bmws and mercedes benz and volvo.
so far.
(3) bmw 5 series
(2) bmw 6 series
(1) audi a4 3.o quattro
(2) volvo s40
(1) volvo s60
(3) various meredes 500 and 600 sedans
(2) mercedes sl class roadster
(1) svt mustang cobrai don't even drive it abusive. these guys pull up next to me and want to go. i don't get it. i thought for sure guys/girls in suped up hondas and toyotas would want to go but they've been more than polite on the road.
i get about 20mpg average and if i'm crusing for a long period of time on a highway i get about 28-30mpg. i handles like a nimble sportscar and has a better turning radius then my last... uh... sportscar did.
ultimately, get what you want and what you can afford.
