i don't think its about alva and the likes trying to make themselves look cool as its more that they are letting all the little groms out there know where skating was born and the people that made it happen.
alva is still the skate punk he's always been... i had the pleasure of meeting him at premiere and he is def a down to earth guy... he even took the time out to skate the local bowl with everyone else.
