Flash Decompiler by Eltima software is by far the best decompiler out there.

There are many legitimate resons to use decompiler software and if you don't know much about Flash they arn't going to help as they don't recreate the FLA perfectly so you need to know how to fix them.
Occasionally clients will ask me to make a change to a Flash site I didn't develop so without decompilers it would take me days to recreate the site to make one minor change.
