Resisting the urge to post this in the "America is..." thread.

A well done write up on the United States Pluto Return ( roughly a 246 year cycle).

coincidentally, Venus is going to spend some time in Capricorn (~four Months) would would imply some economic "restructuring" for the U.S.

    https://www.astro.com/astrology/…

    • You do know that Venus isn't anywhere near any star in the Capricorn constellation, right?monospaced
    • you do know that there is more than one flavor of ignorance?keewee
    • oh please, do tell me which flavor of ignorance I exhibitmonospaced
    • I'm referring to Astrology's absolute ignorance of Astronomy and Physics. And you?monospaced
    • never stated you exhibited anything.keewee
    • Astrology's absolute ignorance? I don't believe that is the case mono, please don't wade any deeper, you'll be drown't.keewee

    • ...or Counting the number of magpies use the same mechanism?Morning_star
    • Astrology is absolutely ignorant when it comes to Astronomy. It talks about celestial bodies, but none of it aligns with reality.monospaced
    • I mean, stars in Capricorn are anywhere from 30–400 light years away from Venus. The idea they could be connected is ludicrous at best.monospaced

An interview with Kenny Ausubel, director of a new astrology documentary series called Changing of the Gods.

Changing of the Gods is a 10-part series on astrology that is being released later this month, starting on February 22, 2022.

The series is based on the work of the astrologer Richard Tarnas, and his 2006 book Cosmos and Psyche.

The focus of the series is the cycle of Uranus and Pluto, and how the alignments of these two planets coincide with major world events and changes.

The series draws on Tarnas' work in order to show how Uranus-Pluto alignments have coincided with historical events in the past, and then compares them with the most recent alignment, which was a square between 2007 and 2020.

Each episode focuses on different facets of how these alignments have manifested in different levels of society and culture.

During the course of the interview we talk about the production of the series, some of the topics covered, and what the overall vision and message of the series is.

    • At no point does he or anyone investigate how or why a planets orientation to ours would or could affect human societies. Because they know it’s bullshit.monospaced
    • Yeah, they worked on the film for over 10 yrs. cuz... “B.S.”keewee
    • Sure seems so because they don’t actually talk about how any of this might be possible. JK Rowling also worked on fiction for a decade.monospaced
    • IF you had even a hint of what the mechanism is ( you don’t) you would say something. But you won’t. Because it doesn’t exist. It’s BSmonospaced

Why aren't there astrology departments in Universities? Why don't we have an Astrological Consultant for the military? For the federal reserve? Why doesn't Vegas use astrology in betting? Because it can't make accurate predictions.

Astrology doesn't meet the rigors to work as a scientific explanation for how the universe operates. If astrology were anything more than entertainment (or mentally therapeutic for the believer) then it would be widely used as a prediction tool and be readily adopted by society for its future foresight.

If there were an independent peer reviewed academic paper that proved Astrology was a viable tool to make predictions, it'd be a shoe-in for the Nobel Prize.

"This is the third in a four-part series with astrologer SJ Anderson. In this episode we focus on Uranus's forthcoming transit through Gemini, from July 2025 to May 2033. This is important because every time Uranus has passed through Gemini since the United States of America was born, the country has been at war. We examine the three great wars that have shaped the US during these periods: the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the Second World War.

Interestingly, it's not only astrologers who have noticed this pattern. A number of geopolitical analysts have too, and they're predicting a period of crisis for the US in the late 2020s. What's coming? We consider the possibilities. "

Astrology And The Surprising Future Of The Internet

In this episode I'm joined by astrologer and software engineer Way (@sadalsvvd) to talk about the future of the Internet! We consider the astrological factors that suggest the future of the Internet is decentralised, and think about the factors driving decentralisation and its implications.

-Soon, Saturn will sail into Pisces, leaving his home turf behind.  For the past 5 years, it's been Saturn-ruled signs and now we return to what it was like in the early 90's.  In this show, we see what ChapGPT has to say about this, we explore the culture of then and now, and take a sober look at Peter Pan.  I hope you enjoy your listen-through.

"The Five Phases Of Pluto In Aquarius

There will be five distinct stages of Pluto's two-decade-long transit through the sign of Aquarius, beginning March 23. In this, the second in a two-part series, I explain how we can view Pluto's transit through Aquarius through the lens of the sign's five Egyptian bounds.

We'll look at Pluto's last transit through Aquarius from 1777 to 1798 and see how the events of that period reflect the five rulers of Aquarius's Egyptian bounds: Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. Then we'll think about what this might say about how Pluto's transit forthcoming transit through Aquarius from 2023 to 2044 will play out."

Speculating at the Edge of Infinity

Endless AI generation, decentralization, and quantum leaps in

disruptive technology that lead to a fundamental restructuring of

    society and culture...

    -The Astrology in Brief

Here's a list of the major astrological configurations that are upcoming and unfolding over the next 5 years (plus the 200-year Age of Air) and their archetypal significations which hint at shape and quality of upcoming changes. If you're not interested in the astrology component, you're welcome to skip this section without missing too much context later....

    Falling Into Infinity-

AI models require a lot of data. A lot of it. You can think of most of the AI models we have now as probability machines...

    Sharing Infinity-

The utility of AI is so vast that I expect there will be demand for access to AIs as a public good...

    Capturing Infinity -

    Distributed Ledger Technology, Decentralization, Web3-
We'll take a bit of a meandering but necessary path back to the topic of image models and training data...

NFTs and How Art Is Valued-

Still, we do have to talk about the art. This is a topic of prime importance, because whether you realize it or not, our world is powered and made better by the work of artists and their practiced aesthetic senses and skills...

An Inside Perspective on NFTs from the Tezos Art Chain-

The thing that's difficult to see from the outside looking in is the experience of exchanging with other human beings via NFTs and the blockchain. I'd like to share my personal experience on the Tezos art chain both buying and making art, and what it taught me about the ways people interact with these technologies.

    Gaming NFTs and the Metaverse-

Gaming NFTs are, as far as I can tell, mostly a ridiculous waste of money. They are in the exact same genre as in-game stores selling cosmetic items for real cash, except they're usually based on worse games...

    Sourcing Infinity-

Let's bring it all back together. We're now looking at a world where it becomes normal to put information on the blockchain, existing in certain ecosystems of apps and chains, which are publicly accessible.

Pluto and Uranus: Nuclear Power, Infrastructure, Telecoms, Robots, Biopharmaceuticals-

Pluto represents power, and Aquarius can represent technological infrastructure which supports the many. Aquarius as the mythical water bearer giving life to cities with Pluto likely indicates a cultural push toward nuclear power as an energy solution.....

In general, once Uranus enters Gemini in 2026, we can expect a very rapid pace of development in all kinds of communications technologies. I expect novel forms of communication to gain widespread adoption or be invented whole cloth, such as interacting via VR or AR technologies, using brain-computer interfaces, and quantum entanglement.

Subtle Air, Astrology, and the AGI-

One signification of the air is also subtle air, ether, or an intangible spirit. This era will be marked by a significant shift from secular, materialist, earthy thinking, to broad-minded, connective, spiritual interrogation...

    Living in Infinity-

Let's return to ground and discuss concrete matters again. How will we be organized and how will we live our lives? I think that the accelerated pace of development in all fields of research along with revolutionary breakthroughs in computation and energy technology will accelerate the spread of AIs and decentralization. Old structures will not be able to keep up, and will be not replaced or dismantled but obviated entirely. What new structures will hold our lives?

    • So is/does language, and yet we still use it.keewee
    • Nairn, you could add to your CV, but you can’t Brett B@sh the work...keewee

Introduction to Harmonics Theory with Ray Tomes, Part 1

Don't miss this fantastic new episode of Cycles TV with FSC Board Member and Science Director, Ray Tomes. Hosted by Chairman of the Board Dr. Richard Smith, the two review Tomes' over half-century of work on developing the science of cycles.

Going beyond individual cyclic phenomena in search of common cycles that are universal, Tomes has formulated a theory of the origins and structure of these cycles.

-A wide ranging Interview with legendary Financial Astrologer Ray Merriman on current Market trends and Astrological factors

  • keewee0

The Kondratiev Cycle, an economic theory developed by the Russian economist Nikolai Kondratiev in the 1920s, posited that the global economy developed in cycles of roughly 50 years: around 25 years of growth followed by 25 years of decline. These cycles were sparked by the invention of important technologies like the steam engine, steel smelting, railroads, cars and computers.

But the Kondratiev Cycle had flaws. While it explained economic developments of the 18th and 19th centuries quite well, it seemed to break down in the 20th century, when the cycles related to the automobile and computer failed to match reality.

In this episode, the first in a two-part series, I'm joined by Dr Christof Niederwieser, an astrologer, business consultant and researcher. Christof realised that the Kondratiev Cycle was actually an astrological cycle: the synodic cycle of Uranus and Pluto. His modification of the Kondratiev Cycle, the Astro-Kondratiev, fixes the problems of the Kondratiev Cycle and gives us fascinating insights into the direction history and economies are moving in.
