Anyone who drinks soda daily will more than likely die early from cancer or heart disease. There's some motivation, cut that stuff out completely.
- sugary sodas only, or all carbonated beverages?monospaced
- Anything that's not made from bee spit or daisy dew, probably.detritus
- alright healthy manset
- I suspect that for all three of us in these notes, the weed smoking will probably weigh heavier than a soda every couple of days...detritus
- ..couple of days.

For the taste some type of sparkling water with lime can be good. I just recently stopped eating sugar and drinking beer. The thing that really helped is eating healthier foods and complex carbohydrates. I've been eating brown rice and I think it helps you not have energy crashes or sugar cravings. If I really crave some sugar I have just been eating fruit instead. Surprisingly, it hasn't really been that difficult.
- Plus I have read that a lot of times when you are craving sugar you are really just dehydrated.seed

We have a soda stream at home, which I love. Pretty much drink sparkling water all evening (I also have a few mixes, ie: ginger ale, vitamin water, etc - but don't use them.... w/ the exception of making my own tonic for g and t's).
During the work day, I drink tap water, or from the jug of water mixed with lemon slices, lime and/or cucumber (we have a big pitcher of it in the kitchen).
I probably drink less than a case of soda (sprite/7up or ginger ale, coke, etc) a year. I drink mostly water, seltzer ...and alcohol. I've found that when i do have a coke or pepsi that's it's almost too sweet to drink.
- it'll just take time to adjust. After a while, you won't even miss the sugary drinks.bulletfactory

I take some regular sparking water, pour it over ice about 3/4 of the way full, and then top off the final 25% with lemonade.
It's a refreshing lemon spritzer drink that has a bit of a soda-esque feel to it, but it's not too sweet. It's great for those hot summer afternoons when I'm stuck at my desk.

put in the mixer [strawberrys + banana + natural orange juice] may add a bit of honey, if you dont like the acid from the strawberrys.

industrialized mass produced fruits and vegetables taste like shit. Fruits and vegetables tasted way better when I was younger.

There is no (healthy) replacement. If it's for the sugar, you have to go through cold turkey. We shouldn't eat/drink that much sugar anyway and softdrinks are really, really bad.
If you miss the caffeine, replace it with coffee or Coke Zero or something.- Please research aspartame before considering putting coke zero or any diet soda in your body...set

lots of ice, squeeze half a lemon and water. very refreshing, might help if you put in a tall cup with straw. plus lemon water has many healthy properties.
for caffeine, make some mate or black tea and chill it. i like my cold teas without sugar maybe some lemon.

gotta give it up for sodastream for fueling my carbonated fizzy fizz addictions. i don't even mess with any of the additive crap, just drop in some sliced strawberries, ice, etc and you're good to go.

I used to drink shit loads of Pepsi, but transitioned to iced tea. Sometimes I go for the store stuff (only marginally better than soft drink, I know), but other times make my own. I get these http://www.hiyatea.com and add just a touch of lemon cordial to give a tiny bit of citrus flavour and sugar (but far far less than I would have otherwise).

carbonated ice-teas based on (yerba) maté are a good alternative. Still contain quite some sugar but only half as much as a coke. They also contain caffeine. you have to get used to the taste though...

- You have the subscribe or log in to read it. However, I'm sure it's utterly retarded...set
- It's like saying one successful man rubs broken glass into his eyes before work, so it must be fine and make you successful.set
- you're absolutely right — Clearly you've not read it!detritus
- btw, you realise your example is exactly the same specious statistic you use, when you talk about your grandad and bicarb? :)detritus

- He's dead now anyway so I take it all back. Bicarb is not the secret to immortality.set
