Dude! I've been using it on my phone since last year, mainly to check snow conditions, with the app I had some troubles figuring out how to snatch tickets. But I thought this year the app didn't work anymore and downloaded 'All Snow' app instead. It kept saying some of the resorts in california were closed even after opened already.. FYI.
- damn, i'll mention that to the dev team... might have been fixed already. they are pretty quick!refunktion
- yeah no worries! I still have it on my phone though, dope to hear you were involved on itMiguex

- yes.refunktion
- I can't imagine what that must feel like.mg33

so the local mountains have basically zero snow and aren't really open yet which is a bummer man. and then there's the ever-increasing costs involved now which are getting ridiculous, even w/ local mountains.

High peaks, lofty prices as skiing prices out middle class- you don't need to be a mathematician to know that snowboarding is expensiveMiguex
- Big ups to the 1%!mg33
- i know its expensive. i have alot of boards, etc. but lift tickets are now paying for much more than lifting people up the hillprophetone
- i don't give a slam about your rwsort cost hike b/c you decided to build a new cafeteria to sell $20 sandwichesprophetone
- i just need a lift up the damn hill! no frills! things are way to frill oriented now and it's pricing people outprophetone
- what kinda feasible business model will it be when lift tix are north of $200 and no one shows up? Lolprophetone
- anyway tix are one thing but we don't even have snow! and prob not until mid jan. Sux.prophetone
- thanks obama!prophetone

The lack of snow sucks, I really hope it's early in the season still, here in california there's not much snow going on yet, but most resort have the ability to make 'fake' snow. Which results on a thin, hard coat of ice over the rocks. I personally have never experienced deep powder yet, but I just go to the local resorts close to LA area.- Last year up in big bear was huge amounts of snow.Knuckleberry

Same situation in Eurpoe, no snow here, lift opening has been pushed back another week.

Miguex: check out Halldor's full part from Never Not if you haven't seen it. It's where that roof-to-roof backflip is from.

can you guys post up some links to some decent priced boards/bindings? i suck, but am rocking a really old burton twin and really need to upgrade this year. don't care if it's last years model, or even used. just want something newer than what i have.
the only other thing i want is too maybe have it have a little more flex than what i am riding now. my current is really rigid.
Thanks!

I got a brand new board/ bindings/ boots from Active Rideshop (online deal) everything for under $500 bucks, but I got it at the end of last year's season. Banana Board/ Union Atlas/ Burton Moto boots. (Just the board alone was going for $600 on other stores(I used to get my stuff from dogfunk and tactical outfitters, but my buddy sent me to active and price was really good)
Check out these boots for $30 bucks
http://www.activerideshop.com/Me…Not sure why so cheap...
but, make sure you try the boots at a store first, the board and bindings you can go by reading if you have some experience with similar boards.
