I get an HTC One with unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 5gb of 4G data for £40($66)/month with EE.
Going from 1gb of 3G to 5gb of 4G was well worth it, i don't have to worry about my data consumption anymore. I've only used all my data once and like Hijo that was during the world cup.
- Includes insuranceset
- Cool. You could have that plan with an iPhone too right?monospaced
- Sureset
- I think they're a little more than an HTC but not much...set

Basically Apple was ahead of the curve with Steve, who people complained about because he was a notorious ruthless asshole, talking down to the little people, and everyone couldnt wait until this monster was gone.
Yet as soon as this evil man is gone, the entire company cannot keep up with the competition, years behind. Hmmm...
Steve may not have been a very nice person, but the man got things done, was a forward thinker, and this company severely misses him. Its like trying to replace the lead singer in a famous band. It rarely works, and they are very average now. I still like their products, but that whole air of "im buying something thats entirely new in every way" feeling that Steve demanded is gone now. Need new leadership.
- Apple needs a new ASS KICKER!CygnusZero4

- verizon said they would've given me $200 for my 4jaylarson
- i guess the upsell to buying from the carrier is they can waive the bs fee and pay you more. that extra $130+ is quite a % of investmentMrAbominable

Unlimited data is pretty standard in Spain, what they do is they give you a fixed data cap at max speed and once you consume that they lower the speed but you don't pay extra.

They need to keep up with this whole concept of a "justice league of designers" by hiring more famous ones.
- Doesnt seem like its a design problem, its an idea problem. They dont have many new ideas anymore.CygnusZero4
- New ideas used to be ALL they were about.CygnusZero4
- you mean the "new" ideas that you also claim they stole? like the mp3 player, tablet and touchscreen phone?monospaced
- when apple steals them, by then they are old ideas. like every feature of the iphone 6 and the smartwatch.CygnusZero4
- ok... so how were they all about new ideas if they were old ideas when they stole them?monospaced
- they took old ideas and made them FEEL new to people. they werent innovators though.CygnusZero4
- steve was a great salesman and marketing guy. he knew how to make thigs accessible and sexy.CygnusZero4
- this still seems contrary to you saying that "New ideas used to be ALL they were about"monospaced

Last night, while out drinking with some buddies, we decided to stop in an AT&T store to check out the phones. And of course we had to try to bend the display models.
Applying a pretty a good amount of pressure, it did NOT bend.
Me thinks you would have to try extremely hard to bend it.
- randommail0
There are literally millions of these things mass-produced!
If you bent it, just buy a new one! Or at least pay for the insurance.Oh wait, it's too expensive to just go spend another $700??
Well you fucking plebian, then reevaluate your consumer habits. What the fuck are you doing with your money?(as I am also a pleb, this is a reminder to myself as well)

Steve Jobs Turned Out To Be Completely Wrong About Why People Like The iPhone!
Jobs launched iPhone and its initial updates with a 3.5-inch screen. When the iPhone 4 ran into trouble because it appeared to drop calls when users held it the "wrong" way, Jobs held a news conference. He was asked, why not just make the phone bigger, so that the antenna might have more space within the device and thus get better reception?
He replied that he disliked the new crop of bigger phones from Samsung et al. "You can't get your hand around it," he said, "no one's going to buy that." He also derided big phones as "Hummers."
- iPhone is too small. I went 6" and that was too big. 5" is absolutely perfect in my opinion.set
- THAT'S WHAT SHE SAIDset
- Hes been wrong about things before. He didnt have the foresight to see where it was heading...CygnusZero4
- ... and what people would like with a phone that does so many things. Need screen space.CygnusZero4
- when the iphone came out, it was the biggest screen on any phone ever, no?monospaced
- they made other changes to make it more ergonomic, like double tapping home for the screen to drop etc etcBrokenHD
- I think it's fair to say he was right at that time (he was), and that peoples' tastes change.dMullins
- Honestly, we all wanted smaller and smaller for so long. Now we want a little bigger.dMullins
- I agree with set that the 5 is the size perfect unless you are Shrek.dMullins

^ We do the same with cars and these tests provide invaluable consumer information to millions of people who would have otherwise made an uninformed purchase decision.
personally, i don't want to have to think about how i hold or store my phone on the go so this clearly isn't the right phone for me. it cost one person $600 to save a few million people from making that costly mistake.
Much more money is wasted every day on far more frivolous and pointless things.
