Finding old TV/movies.

A lot of places i go to have people describing old TV shows and movies that are so out there, or abstract, that google can't find them some times.
The stuff that's always in the back of your head, but you can't remember the show or movie, and google won't be your friend. Here's a couple that I can't help the OP's find the titles of. been searching for 2 days...

So I remember seeing this movie when I was way too young and this is what I remember:
There is the scene where the police(or some similar group) searches the main character's home/apt/loft to find a weapon, but come up with nothing. Shortly after they leave man goes throughout his place, getting all the pieces to his revolver from their many hiding places which included a part in a birdcage, one in an orange, the handle was behind the third towel on the towel rack(the searchers only checked behind two), etc. and puts it together and uses it to shoot something and blow it up the bad guy. The something was a bunch of white stuff.
I have had this movie in my head for way too long and I just want to know what the hell it is. Sound familiar to anyone? Google didn't help me(maybe it'll serve your searching skills better). :\

"I used to rent it all the time when I was kid on VHS. Basically it was about some kids that were transported to this weird island of forgotten toys, where the ruler was a discarded marionette thing that turned evil. Around and about 1985, maybe a little before but not by much. I know it's a long shot. I really wish I could explain better."

I have my own one: a man/scientist is involved in some kind of accident abroad and has to be rebuilt, he has a weird metal head, like a helmet, afterwards. He returns to his home country and has to prove he is the scientist he claims to be... The last scene is hin saying to someone "You might not be able to see it, but I'm smiling"

Your first one reminds me of "In the Line of Fire" with Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich. Sort of... He had a composite derringer-style 4-shot pistol that he made himself in his plot to kill the president, and there were a couple of scenes of him assembling it. It's been a while since I've seen it, but there MAY have been a scene with the cops in his place, but I don't remember.

It involve young mans with no real occupation and often up to no good, graviting around girls who work in street food trucks selling some kind of treats.I've been trying to remember this movie for a loooong time!

I have an old one from the 70's, its been bugging me for ages;
there's this black dude that has 2 white kids, a boy and a girl, and the dad doesn't get along with the son, their always fighting throughout the movie, and the son tries to get with his sister and one point.
one part of the movie the son whips out his thing in front of his dad and the dad is impressed.- haahah. this one sounds funESKEMA

there's another scene if i remember right (if its even the same movie) where the dad kills this monk that was friends with the son

in the end of the movie the son (trying to kill the dad but fails) ends up blowing up his dads office.
I remember during this scene the dads dope ass ride has a spin out or something.Anyone?
