where did you watch it? u should watch it in 3D imax. watching it at home is not the same. it's all about the visual experience and not the storyline.

In this exclusive SoundWorks Collection profile we talk with Director Alfonso Cuarón and Re-recording Mixer Skip Lievsay about the sound teams work to create a dramatic sound scape to a dark and vast outer space environment.

just go see it on a large IMAX screen in 3D and you wont be disappointed.

Much respect to Cuaron. This is a HUGE leap from his last movie that had minimal CG effects. I wonder where he got the idea that this was technically feasible. What a vision!

Just watched! Loved it a lot, a LOT but i'd like to see it NOT in 3D. Not sure I dig 3d all the time.

just watched tonight.. it was good, looked amazing.. but the story was a bit cheesy in parts.. too many obvious lines..
also a huge plot hole was when they were hanging of the space station and clooney kept banging on about he they will both die if he doesnt let go..
by that stage their inertia had stopped, so him letting go or not would have had little to no effect.
apart from that.. it looked good..
and Sandra Bullock was pretty fit..

Alfonso Cuarón is BRILLIANT.
The Camera's Cusp: Alfonso Cuarón Takes Filmmaking to a New Extreme With Gravity
http://www.vulture.com/2013/09/d…
"No one has attempted to make an entire movie in simulated microgravity before; the issue has vexed every filmmaker who’s chosen space as a setting. But Cuarón believed that if they could solve the technical demands of the movie’s location, he would be able to refine, more clearly than in any of his earlier films, what he refers to as his cinematic language."
watch it on IMAX.
damn.
