Once again its the replacement of a logo with a bit of Powerpoint typography.
I like this though, because it means five years from now there's going to be a shitload of logos needed, and the value will be high because it had already cost hundreds of thousands to do a bit of powerpoint type, so, you know, if you want an actual logo its going to be at least three times that.

I heard Illustrator CS7 will have an updated logo tool. It's content aware, so you just feed it the brief and set some parameters.

might be more interesting if the type weight got thinner

- Yeh, this is good, would need to custom thin every glyph, but as a sketch this totally works.mikotondria3

clearly the above is their original concept that just didn't work and rather than come up with something better they just flogged it to death in a few minutes.

Doesn't matter how nicely it's kerned if it's shit.

What is that typeface? Pentagram has been releasing some really underwhelming identity work. Wow.

The logo shows the pounds fading away?

Admittedly the logo in isolation is weak. But the overall identity created with it is not terrible, and is probably a significant upgrade.

I can certainly see that men would have more willingness to engage with brand with the new logo, and that is probably the "expanding" market that they are after with this rebrand.
- "Modern, open and energetic" Excuse me, how?mg33
- I am not saying I agree with their bullshit verbiage describing their work. I am just saying the overall identity package is probably an upgrade from the old onecolossalhead
- probably an upgrade.colossalhead
