I think it's youtube's new layout that pisses me off,
it's well done and all, but I hate going from one layout to another depending what browser/site/os I'm using,
a little bit of coherence there google- ads in the middle of a video are pissing me off.monNom
- All ads are served over HTTPS too now so you can't block them with a proxy anymoreanimatedgif

Why isn't Verbatim the default setting? I fucking hate that they intentionally search for things I didn't ask them to, and search for synonyms and make other assumptions.
- <, < and thrice <.detritus
- I hate that as well. Especially when I'm in a hurryGlitterati_Duane

TL:DR
Google’s political bias has equated the freedom from offense with psychological safety, but shaming into silence is the antithesis of psychological safety.
This silencing has created an ideological echo chamber where some ideas are too sacred to be honestly discussed.
The lack of discussion fosters the most extreme and authoritarian elements of this ideology.
Extreme: all disparities in representation are due to oppression
Authoritarian: we should discriminate to correct for this oppressionDifferences in distributions of traits between men and women may in part explain why we don’t have 50% representation of women in tech and leadership. Discrimination to reach equal representation is unfair, divisive, and bad for business.

Due to client requests we don't have internet access. We have to log on through a virtual machine. We have a private chat group network locally.
Not connected, our machines do not have internet access, usb connectivity etc (data is critically sensitive), yet a few times we chat in these private groups and I get advert messages in my youtube searches. Freaky shit.
Trying to work out how it would be possible.

I gave it a day, and I actually kind of like it. But I find it surprisng every time I use the search or Gmail, because I'm not used to seeing it.
Still, it's clean and playful. I like it.
- yep same. perfect evolution and looks so clean on all devices. what did people expect when improving a basically bad logo - but they did improve it.fadein11
