Police in Texas shot and killed a mother after she gunned down her two daughters in a Houston suburb Friday, police said.

Christy Sheats, 42, opened fire in the street in Katy, Texas, shortly before 5 p.m. local time (6 p.m. ET), the Fort Bend Sheriff's Office said.

Officers who responded found the two daughters, Taylor Sheats, 22, and Madison Sheats, 17, shot in the street, and a Fulshear Police Department officer fatally shot the mother after she refused to drop the gun, the sheriff's office said.

One of the daughters was dead when officers arrived, and the second was flown to a hospital in critical condition but she later died, deputies told NBC affiliate KPRC.

"The graphic video shows a deadly encounter outside a convenience store.

Two police officers pin down Alton Sterling, a 37-year-old black man, then shoot him as he lies on the ground.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, police say they came to the scene early Tuesday after an anonymous 911 caller reported a man threatening him with a gun.

Accounts of what happened next depend on whom you ask.

Sterling is dead. Authorities are investigating. And many questions remain unanswered."

    • video is fucked up... you can see the cop pull his gun out and put it to the man's head... then hear the 'pop'—fucking hell cops are getting shittier each yearPonyBoy

    • @yuri, how is Hillary a white power, nazi christian? seriously?monospaced
    • mono... how is MeriKKKa a white power nazi christian state? yuri is just following suit w/another dipshit comment... why aren't you calling out utopian? :)PonyBoy
    • how is my comment dipshit? When it's 100% true and accurate? We are all living in a police state run by God fearing racists.utopian
    • Obama is a God fearing racist?PonyBoy
    • not to mention you dumped the kkk into all of america w/your clever spelling... ...obama is a white nazi christian according to your dipshit comment :)PonyBoy
    • Obama has absolutely nothing to do with majority of police departments around the country that are all overwhelming a majority white.utopian
    • so maybe next time say something a touch more intellectual and accurate (like you just wrote) instead of something dipshit-ish... you're triggering me, man! <3PonyBoy
    • I can't argue the validity of your statement that there are more white cops than any other race... but to lump all of them in as KKK nazi christians is weakPonyBoy
    • this has got to be the most flagrant misuse of violence by police documented in this way. i've never seen cops pop some guy while he's on the ground...sarahfailin
    • @Pony, he really didn't lump them all in. These here, in this video, they represent the racist police state that is deeply ingrained in some communitiesmonospaced
    • I was only asking yuri what evidence he has of Hillary Clinton being a white supremacist, Nazi Christian, as he claims she ismonospaced
    • @mono... yes.. he lumped everyone in ameriKKKa (including you) in his dipshit statement... and now you're trying to defend said dipshittedness. :)PonyBoy
    • Next time target the appropriate folks such as LA cops—but be sure you have evidence to back up they're all white xtian nazis—else your statement is 'dipshit'PonyBoy
    • this shouldnt happen and is horrible. we have to put the problem in perspective. not to take away from this tragedy. https://www.youtube.…yurimon

I feel sad for the guy,
    but,
how come those fuckn cunts never come out when it's black on black crime, 90%+ of crimes is black on black,

    yet they don't care,

if they really wanted to fix the problem they would start with that fuck thug culture that is killing them,

    fuck them!!

    • PCness, Sir George... we must remain PC!!PonyBoy
    • George... if a white guy made this statement in public over here in the States he would be deemed a racist bigot within seconds... u can't go there anymorePonyBoy
    • (but you know this)PonyBoy
    • You can't "go there" anymore? Puhlease. There are thousands and thousands of white people saying this in public every single day.nb
    • I'm so tired of people whining about PC culture. A few activists tell you to STFU and you act like freedom of speech doesn't exist anymore. Lulz.nb
    • nb—when a college campus has a white only safe space you can get back to me and tell me to STFU—else whitey is racist the minute he opens his mouth these daysPonyBoy
    • there is so much BS in our current media that almost immediately stifles whitey the moment he / she opens her mouth—I'm so you're tired, nb—the truth is tiringPonyBoy
    • (shit....hahah... didn't mean to be that condescending!!!) <3PonyBoy
    • *i'm sorry you're tiredPonyBoy
    • Sorry, but black on black crime is because most black people know black people. White on white crime is as high and no one ever mentions that.ArmandoEstrada
    • FBI Stats:
Whites killed by whites - 82%
Blacks killed by blacks - 90%
Stop perpetrating that these numbers are not far from each other.

    • Yep same, grew up in a v.multicultural city, all my schools were v.ethnically mixed, my university was and all companies I have worked for had diverse staff.fadein11
    • So yep - what's your point yuritard?fadein11
  • ArmandoEstrada0

This is why people are mad.

Its a little old but perfectly explains the situation.

    • oh c'mon... cops shoot and kill white people all the fucking time... ... one youtube vid shows one NOT being killed and 'this is why people are mad'PonyBoy
    • did you really want the white guy shot dead? would the world be more 'equal' if this white man were laying a pool of blood?PonyBoy
    • I know I'm being 'extreme' but using this vid as an explanation as to 'why people are mad' is a bit extreme too... COPS are abusive in general these days...PonyBoy
    • I watched a white kid get pummeled the other day for NO reason other than he stepped out of his car. http://www.qbn.com/r…PonyBoy
    • Ive said this before and I'll say it again. If white people were getting killed by copsthe country would fuckin nuke. But since its black people, its kinda meh.sofakingback
    • there are more whites killed by cops than blacks in the US... when compared proportionally blacks % is not that much higher than whites, latinos etcPonyBoy
    • Well then, in light of your findings. everything is great. Clearly what happens in inner cities has been greatly exaggerated. Who would have thought... carry onsofakingback
    • my point was that there are more whites than blacks killed... yet no nukes go offPonyBoy
    • You strike me as an extremely smart individual, which means I shouldn't have to point out that whites massively out number blacks in this country...sofakingback
    • So your point is.... say it with me... pooooooint... lllleeee.... say it. Pointless. There you go. Right? Makes sense, right?sofakingback
    • I admit there are more whites than blacks and that numbers aren't proportional... but I do not admit police abuse is limited to black people only...PonyBoy
    • ... my point is / has been through-out these notes that the PO-Lease are abusive of their power regardless of whom you are... power-tripping fucksPonyBoy
    • Well man, as a general statement sure. Police officers take advantage of their position and cause harm to everyone they interact with... but it is also very...sofakingback
    • Clear that minorities have always received very racial bias treatment. Look at our history in this country for god sakes man. Look at whats happening nowsofakingback
    • Look at those videos of people being killed. Don't you have a heart? can't you have empathy? How can you even try to toss out the idea that they're just randomsofakingback
    • acts of police violence? Be human dude, who cares about being right or wrong. Look at those videos. jesus.sofakingback
    • Dude... All I have said is the cop brutality isn't related to just one race these days... THAT IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE... Please read god damnitPonyBoy
    • The bad Cops aren't limiting their tyranny to just black people... It's getting worse out there for everyone... That is ALL I've relayed. Human enough, sofakin?PonyBoy
    • I thought caring for everyone and not just one race is what humans are supposed to do. I thought I was being human, sofuckingjudgemental...PonyBoy
    • So you're saying its level across the board? Am I understanding that correctly? or do we agree that theres clear racial bias. The numbers prove it.sofakingback
    • I realize cops are take advantage of power, no matter what and to who ever. But I promise you, you've never been pulled over for a traffic violation and asked..sofakingback
    • "What gang are you in? How many years did you serve in the pen, let me see your tattoos" Thats what my traffic stops go like in the area I grew up in.sofakingback
