Yo, I just updated my site... I still need to add a few parts and pieces here and there, but pretty close to being down. Please let me know what you think.

it's realllly gray, i'd prob nuke the backgrounds altogether, keep it white or a super muted bg at most --- the 'hey dudes' text in the header needs needs some adjusting and spicing up typographically --- what do you mean by 'since 1977'?
- yr. I was born...adamm
- i know you're being funny but i'm not feeling it personally, just my 2 centsprophetone
- you haven't been working since '77, clearly (return of asshole monospaced).monospaced
- I think it’s a bit too grey too. Def find a way to bring in some color or let it be white.

OK, a quickie...
- I would definitely get rid of the glow.
- There MUST be a better font & COLOR for your "Hello my name.."
- The Nav arrows are huge!
- My browser screen is reduced so right now, your header/logo occupy 50% of my page...
- Have to go...Hope it helps... after all, who the hell am I?

so s it M.a.c or M.a.c. because you display both.

Seems visually confusing to have a distressed logo with a glow over a stark digital background.
I'd advise that you get someone to help you with your copy writing.
Visually, the first image in each slider seems odd without consistency - some are cropped, some are full width, some are fading out, some of the backgrounds have a gradient...
Also, a 'contact' section would help - not just a contact form... but info on where you are and how I could reach you-- otherwise you seem like you're lurking in the shadows.
And I don't mean to be rude, but years ago I had a jimdo.com theme that was eerily similar to this layout.
What I do like is that it's simple and straightforward.
- Thanks, appreciate the comments. Site may have old layout, but I wanted something quick , easyadamm

Great, thanks for the input!

I don't get why there are periods in the "M.a.c." Is this an acronym for something else? Or just name play on your last name? If just name play, I would lose the periods.

- it's a name play... good advice, I went back and forth on it many times.adamm

You spelled "Technical" wrong on your Technical illustrations slide.
- d_rek0
BUT IS IT RESPONSIVE???

Some navigation for the slides would be nice for user feedback.

the bean bags are weird and i don't know if saying using licensed characters is designing.
- Was going to write the same thing.newuser
- Come on, you didn't do anything on that project.newuser
- actually went many rounds with them, added many elements, laid out many designs.adamm
- hahahahahqTime
- :)adamm
- well show THAT then. cause these look like wal-mart product shots.doesnotexist
- I see no process or design thinking in the pics.newuser

your sites are all kinda cookie cutter... not much design, all layout, lump all those into "Web design" and get rid of the internet browser chrome. Take all the logos and make them their own entries, you'll benefit from the use of white space around each of them instead of all grouped together. reorder the list to technical illustrations, individual logos, then web design. also, use pngs or check the compression on your jpgs, something went wonky when you sized them down, looking kinda rough.

Did you go to school?

Its perfect as it is. Your type of clients will love it.

make the arrows bigger!

Please scrap the "since/established 1977" unless you have been developing concepts and securing contracts for the last 35 years. This "I've been creative since I was born" trend needs to stop.
Where's the Punches For thread?
- ya, this will be gone. Got the message on that one! Thanks.adamm

— I really like your technical illustrations, I think those are your strongest work.
— Give more padding in between each portfolio piece, right now it feels too cramped.
— On some of your images there are two rules on the top (a dark gray, and a lighter gray), think about eliminating both as they might not be necessary.

your engineered mechanical illustrations are the strongest part of the site. i feel it dominates the rest of your work as it looks more professional. they are very clear and visually amazing
you should do more industrial design illustrations. or add more to your portfolio.
