  I think killing the attacker, in this particular case, is completely justified. Another person's life was in danger. The police are supposed to protect us, and in every part of this country are authorized to use lethal force in a select few kinds of scenarios. The cop shot first to wound and hopefully scare off the attacker. This did nothing. His second shot was to kill.

  I can't believe people are actually discussing the morality of this situation.

  Also, whoever posted the images of the poor guy who lost his face: that was in really poor taste. Nobody needs to see that shit.
