I recently stumbled upon Litho. It includes over 200 templates and 30 demo themes really nicely designed for $12-

Does anyone know of a good WP theme that could get me to this result? https://www.brucemaudesign.com/
I really like the straightforwardness and clarity of it.
- yeah I already posted in the comments: https://laytheme.com… you can do whatever you want with itgrafician

So after years building Websites with GeneratorPress and Elementor I decided to suggest a client that on the long run it would be wise to invest in a Template Kit.
So I could build a website but there would be not really any templates for the person who comes after me or for my client if they want to manage and continue the website.
We don't know the future, that's basically the thing that lead to the decision. Here templates. Feel safe.
- The basis is stil GP and Elementor but in my research I found some nice themes I would use myself like Litho or Lekker. Really well designed. One time $59!!!oey_oey

I have used the Salient WordPress Theme for a few clients that couldn't afford a custom website, I liked the results. There are 30 themes to elect from for $60-
- Nice
Thanks.nbq - Yes, that's the thing, a custom website needs really time and to pay for that is not for everybody.oey_oey

Now I somehow realize that maybe I'm on the wrong here.
I set this website like this
GeneratePress Pro – $49 (yearly fee)
Elementor Pro – $33 (yearly fee)
Template Kit – $24 (one time)Total – $106 (first year investment after that only $82
/year)I did this because despite being able to design a website with all of the free versions of GP and Elementor and without a theme you guys already know how the story goes with working hours, payments, templates, maintenance, the next designer, clients needs, 20 plugins, etc...and without the template that has been my workflow really.
But now I realize that I could have advised my client just to buy a good theme for $69 and maybe Elementor Pro...making a total of $102.
I just don't want a website full of stuff that one doesn't need and find it easier to build from zero than removing all the extra shiny bits.
What do you guys think?
Did I do wrong?
Or is this still okay?

I've been teaching myself how to use Oxygen Builder for the past six months, finally using it on an internal work project and I'm loving it. Granted, there are times that a theme is exactly what someone needs, but I was more interested in the flexibility of building from the ground up.
It does benefit from add-ons such as Oxy Extras, advanced custom fields, and a few others, but it's overall been fun. It's just the right amount of code and CSS for me at a point in my life where I just don't want to build anything from scratch, but don't want to stick entirely to hacking a template.

Last 2 outfits I've worked for have used DIVI (I'm sure it's already been mentioned.

Other than it feeling a BIT bloated, you can really create rapid mockups, it's VERY well supported, affordable (for freelancers OR small agencies), etc. etc. etc.
Godspeed!
- I understand what you mean but I really hate DIVI. I'm in charge of the website of the Kindergarten my daughter goes to and it's made with DIVI...damn!oey_oey
- I totally get it, but I'm in the "I hate DIVI camp" too. IMO there are significantly better tools available for achieving similar results.nocomply
- I'm still working with the Astra theme and Beaver Builder. Elementor is pretty solid as a page builder too. Still can't get behind the Gutenberg editor just yetnocomply
- I keep saying: DIVI = Duplos (for toddlers), Elementor = Technics (for teens and grownups)janne76
