@kona - Appreciate the response, but it's par for the course. I can (and have) posted this very same thing to multiple sites and QBN always elicits the most negative response. It's the tradeoff for a good bit of traffic.

why are people shitting on this thread? ffs are you all that cynical?
autonomy did something out of the box creative, took a chance and succeeded. he landed a great gig and if nothing else his efforts can be used as inspiration for other designers looking to land a new job.
instead people are shitting on code and going bananas over it not working in ie6. what a bunch of insufferable cunts.
- No offense.kona
- Well if you claim to be a front-end developer you better fucking know how to make a site work cross platform.moniker
- especially a simple one pager.moniker

Hopefully during your time there, they'll encourage you to put a little space between your paragraphs...

- can't pat the dude on the back w/out spanking his bottom a little... can ya? :)PonyBoy
- To be honest, I only pat people so I can get to spank their bums. It's the only way I can get human contact...detritus

- A tab is a perfectly acceptable paragraph marker. What's the problem.Amicus
- No problem, I'd just like some space is all. You lot can be too goddamn literal sometimes. Often. Usually.detritus

Instead of sending in a traditional resume as requested I made a "resume page" and sent a link. Wasn't sure if this would work, and had a few friends tell me they weren't sure what they thought about the idea, but it ended up working and I accepted the position! Moving from Portland, Maine to NYC in two weeks time. Fourth state we've lived in in as many years.
