An image is an image, screen or printed. In the case of interactive work it makes sense to show it where it actually lives - the screen. If you are a print/package designer in most cases your images of work will look better on screen anyway, unless you can/want to lug around physical samples.

physical samples get dirty, people don't respect them, and if you're working with known brands then they've probably seen your work without knowing it anyways.
digital presentations on the ipad work well, you can control how everyone sees it and you don't have to spend $200 per book.

If your mocking up designs because you dont have physical printed collateral pieces. Would you still opt for the printed folio/case combo or does iPad make sense for that? Also, how would u present web work on a printed folio?
