but isn't Zimmerman a black guy? he looks it from NZ.
This guy was gun happy, gung-ho, doofus and was one of those that reminded the teacher she hadn't checked the homework. Burn!

His "former" attorneys insinuated that he is no longer in Florida. What a tool...if he doesn't kill himself first he's going to jail.

Zimmerman is going to self-implode in 5... 4... 3...

Josev, you nailed it. I think racism is a factor but it seems like small-ish town 'good ole boy-ism' is also in play. The investigators apparently wanted an arrest warrant and for some reason that didn't happen.
I don't think Zimmerman is evil but he is a dumb jackass who made some very poor decisions that resulted in the loss of a life. He should be in jail and I'm still amazed and incensed that he has not been arrested.

Lol look at this fucking jackass. Doesn't even know all the facts, but hey, the victim was black, let's get behind him, even though the possibility is there that this was his own fault.
- yes, it's his fault. He was all like "Hey Mr, come follow me against 911's advice"locustsloth

@deathboy...there are always cases that get more attention. How is it JonBenet Ramsey's killing got non-stop national coverage when Tabatha Tudor, a poor kid from Nashville, barely made headlines after her disappearance?
If the police had arrested Zimmerman (or at least done a background check and/or taken him in for questioning) and played out the investigation the way many feel was appropriate, I don't think this shooting would be getting so much attention.

- yea i guess its more jersey shore of a news storydeathboy

i really dont get this. sounds like a dumb shit killing. Both dudes overreacting or even a single guy depending your view. How is this more important than any regular news story of dumb shit with a fark tag in florida? Is it only important because its everywhere making people think its more important and need to talk about ( yes im in that demo after seeing so much and getting curious about how one senseless act of violence is more important than others... power of media highlighting shit). Seems as senseless an pointless as any smoking gun story... I kinda see the attraction with zimmerman getting off at first but clearly looks like evidence will screw him. But still dont see how it gains so much attention. I cant help but think its no more valuable than the local news reporting on some stabbing or shooting. Why does this seem important?

From ABC:
http://www.abcactionnews.com/dpp…"SANFORD, Fla. - A lead investigator into the shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin wanted to charge neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman with manslaughter, according to a report from ABC News.
The news agency said they confirmed the information from 'multiple sources.'
The state attorney's office, headed by Norman Wolfinger, told investigator Chris Serino that there was not enough evidence to press charges.
Serino filed an affidavit on Feb. 26, the night Martin was shot and killed by Zimmerman, saying he did not believe Zimmerman's version of events."
- I heard this on the news tonight. It's believed there was witness tampering also.Josev

and speaking of the media, the photo of Trayvon supposedly flipping the bird is not him (as sherm posted earlier) and was spread by Michele Malkin's website:
"Yesterday a right-leaning website called Twitchy ran a picture of George Zimmerman in a suit and tie next to what they claimed was a picture of Trayvon Martin with no shirt and sagging pants. Twitchy is owned and operated by Michelle Malkin, a conservative pundit who is a frequent guest on Fox News. The picture of Zimmerman was real, but the picture of Martin was not. After Eric Boehlert, senior fellow at the left-leaning organization Media Matters, tweeted a screenshot of the article Twitchy posted the following correction:
“Correction, 8:56 pm ET March 25, 2012: We made a mistake. The photo on the right is not of the Trayvon Martin who was shot by Zimmerman. We apologize to our readers and to the Martin family.”
"- I mean, fucking Michele Malkin. Talk about culture wars.Josev

Some good points on the daily beast:
http://www.thedailybeast.com/art…“They didn’t even bother to put yellow tape around the murder scene when he died,” Rev. Jackson, who has been counseling Martin’s parents, told The Daily Beast. “That’s how much the police did to find out what happened to this young boy. But now we hear about his school record and everything else he may have done. It’s a classic case of putting the victim on trial. They drug-test the boy—but not the man who shot and killed him. George Zimmerman has a police record. Trayvon does not. So why are we putting Trayvon on trial? There is no violence in his background.”

I love that wagist story posted above -- asking if he was a drug dealer and pointing to evidence such as tattoos (one was his mother's name), and his twitter account and twitpics. Click through and you'll see photos of scooby doo candy, new tennis shoes, pics of his tattoo and two girls. QBN must be full of drug dealers based on those identifying behaviors.
