People who think that big new flat screen TV = overly exaggerated colors, overcompensated motion settings, high contrast, bright colors, etc.
A friend asked about tv settings on Facebook, describing a very "soap opera" looking quality to what they were watching. All these friends of theirs were raving about their uncalibrated, unrealistic looking TV quality saying "you get used to it" or "it's really cool after a while."
They're referring to the motion settings that result in the picture quality looking overly-realistic - you know, the ones that strip any semblance of original cinematic quality from movies and such.

Agency higher-ups who use words like "verticals" to illustrate how they are swooping down onto your project from another planet where their square eyeballs were designed to see the light spectrum in charts and graphs.

They UI designers who replace "Save" with "Save a version" in creative applications, as if people don't use their own version control.

People who start lowering their voice to the point where they actually start croaking while explaining something to someone else in an office setting. Wtf is that.

^ You really expected them to just do a 180 after hearing a bunch of pro-Obama speeches? Come on, you know it takes a lot more than that to undo THAT much stupidity. There's nothing in the world that could make these people believe anything other that what they choose to believe. Our only hope is to try to prevent them from overbreeding.
