other than that the first half of the movie still seem like a giant trailer. time to time the camera seem out of focus. over all mehhh.... not bad... didn't live up to it's hype.

By the way, there is a very specific reason why he wears that mask. Dont know what it is, I just read that there's a reason for it. Might have something to do with that huge scar that runs down the back of his neck. So he's not wearing it to look cool or anything.

I think, as far as Bane goes, we're not going to get any CG what so ever. The actor might buff up, but they aren't going to portray him as the hulking monstrosity he is in the comics. In my opinion, the character isn't half as interesting without that tho, so I'm not that interested in either of these bad guys. But the director is 2 for 2 with these so let's see what he does.

Noone thought Heath Ledger would be a good Joker, so Im not worried about the casting. What I am curious about is Bane. The only thing interesting about that character is him bulking up due to Venom, but that doesnt seem like something that would work in Nolan's realistic take on Batman.

They'll figure something out though Im sure.

    Hello!

We are booking PAID extras for the big stadium scenes at Heinz Field on Saturday, August 6th and Sunday August 7th for “MAGNUS REX” starring CHRISTIAN BALE, GARY OLDMAN, ANNE HATHAWAY AND JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT. It is a football game between the Gotham City Rogues and their rivals the Rapid City Monuments! These scenes are VERY involved and have lots of action.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE BOTH DATES ALL DAY STARTING VERY EARLY MORNING (AS EARLY AS 5AM) FOR 12 -14 HOURS. Pay is minimum wage for the first 8 hours and time and a half after that. There will be craft service and drinks available all throughout this time. You will be given lunch. Reliable transportation is a must. We can not book anyone who is relying on the bus as it does not run this early. Parking will be provided.

This scene takes place in the winter so you will have to be comfortable wearing layers in the heat. No one with medical conditions such as heart problems, breathing problems or sun allergies should apply for this scene.

When they are not shooting, you will be able to remove the layers so we’re recommending people wear tank tops under their clothes. They will do everything in their power with fans, misters and plenty of water to keep everyone hydrated and cool.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN BOOKED TO WORK ON AN UPCOMING SCENE OR HAVE WORKED ON THIS FILM ALREADY, PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO BE BOOKED AGAIN. WE WILL ONLY BOOK NEW FACES FOR THIS SCENE.

IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP TO BE A VOLUNTEER EXTRA AND YOU CALL US TO BE BOOKED AS A PAID EXTRA AND WE DEFINITELY BOOK YOU FOR THOSE DAYS, YOU WILL HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR VOLUNTEER SPOT. DO NOT CANCEL YOUR VOLUNTEER SPOT BEFORE FINDING OUT IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY WORKING WITH US!!!

PLEASE CALL 412-621-1160 (OFFICE – CALL THIS NUMBER FIRST), 310-968-7442(PRODUCTION CELL) OR 310-710-8140(PRODUCTION CELL) IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WORKING ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. REMEMBER, YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE BOTH DAYS ALL DAY AND OKAY WITH WORKING IN THE HEAT.

DO NOT EMAIL US WITH QUESTIONS OR TO BE BOOKED. WE WILL NOT BOOK THAT WAY. YOU MUST CALL AND SPEAK WITH SOMEONE.

    Thanks so much!

Why would the CIA execute people and throw them out of planes?

    • thats what they do.. its always been "Hush" hush with the CIAe-pill

Yes, exactly. Im not talking about Batman, Im talking about the style of the films. They arent traditional comic book style movies, and even their writer doesnt seem them as comic book movies. That's not what they were trying to create, which is why they are so different than the others out there.

If you've seen the movie Heat, Dark Knight was very similar to that movie, and Heat had a big influence on Nolan when making TDK. Well the fact that Batman is in it doesnt really make it a comic book movie. Yes the stories are losely based on the Jeph Loeb stuff, but watching them, they dont come off like comic book movies at all.

Hell, these movies are so realistic that they cant even incorporate anything supernatural in them, like Killer Croc. That right there tells you they are only very loosely based on comics.

A lot of people who arent comic book fans loves that about these movies. Others like myself who also love comics are ok with a different take on it. I kind of think after these are done, Warner might try to go back to that, or at least try to create some sort of hybrid realistic/comic book style movie.
