South Carolina is also another white, racist, inbred deep south state. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-n…

this.- No way ..
Probably just a flesh woundRamanisky2 - yeah arm shot is my guessmoldero
- My jaw dropped, lolsea_sea
- too much blood splatter for a flesh-wound. mind you, their blood splatter hasn't always been that realistic (see glen's fake death)Gnash
- He'll walk it off.pango
- some Tussin will fix itRamanisky2
- No way ..

Wow this is annoying if true (spoilers)

If they were going to take out Daryl it would be with much more ceremony. Definitely not with someone else sneaking up on him, shooting him, and then roll credits.

how many times is fucking Glen going to get caught? how many times are people going to sneak up on them in a forest with crunching leaves and twigs all over the ground, are they ninjas? zombie ninjas?
and Carol rocks, the only one on the show that isn't getting on my nerves.
- You're complainy.CyBrainX
- niko's right, though.Gnash
- "the crunchy leaves" haha I always say that ... how do you sneak up on people who in this world should always be on guard??
your head should be on a swivel.Ramanisky2 - I completely agree. It was lazy storytelling.MondoMorphic
- I've lost count on how many times a character have been jumped by a zombie walking in on him/her from various angles...DerekDrama
- ...they could literally stand in the middle of a field and get caught by surprise, yet in the next scene they hear a zombie fart a mile away.DerekDrama
- Probably my biggest gripe with the tv-series. As MondoMorphic said, just lazy storytelling.DerekDrama

I thought they'd show who lucille picked
- Who got clobbered?utopian
- they didn't show how. did a POV shotGnash
- show *whoGnash
- In the comics its Glenn but could be different in the showfyoucher1
- I think Daryl.ETM
- I'd say it's the OG recruiter.pango
- Then they pussied out and the show is failing on the premise it was created under. That anyone, no matter how important can die at any time.ETM
- i bet there's a pool going on.pango

cheap ending. so lame.
- agreed, why the cliffhanger, shouldve revealed the kill and let the fans seethe with anger for 7 months against Neegan- rather than being pissed at the studio.BH26
- Yup. Not seeing the beating was cheap, lazy, and robbed the ending of the impact it SHOULD have had.dopepope
- If they had balls they would have killed one character that we witness, then have him say something like "Oh, what the hell..." then the 1st person kill ofETM
- another character we have to wait to find out about.ETM
- Then we'd have one death to deal with, hate Negan more and still wonder for the next eight months about the other character.ETM

Cliffhanger or not, it shouldn't have mattered. The ending should have meant something and made me feel something. It was perfectly MEH.
It was poorly directed. The editing and directing of the bat swings, camera angles, and lack of viscera was so disappointing.
Then, I find out it's the hack Greg Nicotero guy who directed it. A makeup/special effects guy that gets to also direct some episodes. Why does AMC give him so much producing/directing power?
- Don't know Nicotero from his previous work, but I can agree that the whole thing was somewhat subpar.DerekDrama
- Reading that scene in the comics, I felt sick to my stomach – such an seminal and important scene.DerekDrama
- yup, i quit reading the comics of this scene... too grimtank02

Another wasted storyline in favor of the tired schlock of network TV. They wasted and watered-down every solid storyline and I'm bored with it all now.

I actually enjoyed the episode. I really like the mood the show is setting now. Much better than previous seasons.
That said, the ending, the single moment that for me and probably many marked the crescendo of the entire graphic novel thus far was so poorly done. I kept saying in my head during Negans drawn out speech, "this should be on HBO, this should be on HBO". The absence of the foul mouth and the lack of swing-by-swing commentary by the charismatic villain and the lucky one mumbling their last words while their eye's begin bulging out of their skull.... ugh... I hate violence, but man if you're gonna do the scene, do the scene!
I really wish they'd found someone better to play Negan too. His timing gave me time to think and felt rehearsed. He barely filled in his pants too. I mean, couldn't they have found a burlier man to swing the soon-to-be-famous baseball bat. Some barrel-chested, square-jawed neanderthal who heaved thunderous laughter from their chest while they beat their victims to a bloody pulp?
Here, how about this guy. He doesn't need acting experience, he just need to shave, grow out a little hair, slick it back, say a bunch of bad words and make fun of people who stutter because of how hard he just cracked their skull.
- I hate that his clothes looked brand new; JDM looked like he was heading to a friend's party DRESSED as Negan.DerekDrama

The thing that bugged me the most was Rick's silence.
It was completely unbelievable to me that he didn't offer himself up to save his son or Maggie or anyone else for that matter.
