I have to say, the last few episodes have been pretty damn good. Alpha is a great character and I'm very curious about what Negan is up to with her group.

I'm two seasons behind on the main series and gave up on Fear the Waking Dead in the first season, so I *may* take a pass on this.

I tried watching this show again after a few years and realized I barely recognize any of the people. Apparently they killed all the main characters off and it's just a bunch of no name actors now. Good way to save some money I guess lol.

I know this show's gone to hell and I've been shitting on it as much as anyone, and we've generally forgotten about it, but the last episode...
holy Shit.
Best episode ever, so well shot and acted, so well done. shit got serious, no more hamming it up. Alpha is fucking amazing.
- I'm still persevering, it's like a penance. And yes, the last episode was outstanding. Alpha is outstandingly fucked up. Brutal delux. I miss Negan tho.Morning_star
- I loved the way they slowly built, introduced all the players, then fucked shit up. Think we all underestimated the Whisper Crew.robthelad
- this level of horror and brutality reminds me of 70's movies, even the colour grade they used in this episode, nice old school realism_niko

Are necrophiliacs attracted to zombies?
Does the zombie virus transmit sexually as a std?- there's likely a pronhub category for thisGnash

How did they explain Morgan being able to cross over to a show that takes place before the show he's currently on?
I did stop watching FTWD after s2. I didn't like it very much. But I do recall it being a prequel of sorts. Did FTWD speed up it's time line to match or surpass TWD?
- not sure they need to, considering Morgan existed in both and they are really one big timeline and shared worldmonospaced
- So, he's there in the past? or it's the Morgan from after the S7 finale ? That's what I'm confused about.dopepope
- same outbreak, same timeline.Gnash
- so, Morgan was in Atlanta, then got to LA, then got back to Virginia to deal with Negan? Or...dopepope
- He's leaves after Neegan and meets up with those ppl in LA...dopepope
- Which means the timeline of FTWD had to have gone by faster than TWD hasdopepope
- FTWD and TWD were always meant to be happening concurrently. time elapses differently in each show but same worldGnash
- The morgan in FTWD is the one that just left Neegans' defeat in TWDGnash
- ah ok.dopepope
- Yeah he left right after the final battle and then ran, walked and drove to the west coastRamanisky2
- I thought lots more time passed in the original series than FTWD.monospaced
- Hold on. When Fear the Walking Dead started it was at the point of zombie outbreak. Then time passed more quickly than in The Walking Dead...CyBrainX
- When they were at the same time frame last year, Morgan decided to drive across the country. (God only knows why).CyBrainX

I am enjoying Fear The Walking Dead more then TWD. Season 3 was actually pretty good.

- I can't stand the crossover character though. He was my least favorite on twd.shellie

Season FInale happened 2 days ago and not one comment.
This show is truly dead.
- I liked it. Just didn't want to trigger Benn. Wait until Benn finds out that Adobe owns the rights to the show.Gnash
- It’s just so much cheese latelyRamanisky2
- Good ending, cheers to the mullet. Interesting to see if the mutiny foreshadowing goes anywhere._niko
- That whole mutiny thing was a bit confusing. Especially after Daryl and Jesus were preaching the ways of forgiveness. I get Maggie's rage but not the others...Morning_star
- Also, Ricks beard disturbs me.Morning_star
- This half of season 8 was enjoyable TV. Let's hope Rick's beard dies in the first episode of season 9.robthelad

Yes this is a terrible show but I am still incredibly curious as to the storytelling. I've not read the comics so I don't know how far off they are (I know the kid doesn't die in them though).
What's interesting to me is the show still uses standard hero-story tropes like emphasizing (or trying to) that Rick is the "good guy" and Negan is "bad," but for two or three seasons now the "good guys" have been making decisions that range from morally questionable to outright evil.
I can't really tell what the showrunners are trying to do, what narrative they want to construct or who they want to be considered worth rooting for ... honestly in our fucked up reality it's kind of an interesting thing to watch, because it's as untrustworthy as everything else.
- Negan's the most likeable guy on the show. Everyone else is annoying._niko
- There is no true good and bad, only your team and your survival. Everyone has a motive/angle to survive.ETM
- ^ yeah i understand that, but I can't tell if the show does. Like they seem to want to have that ambiguity but are using stereotypical storytellingcolin_s
- which emphasizes standard protagonist / antagonist concepts, as opposed to like, "the wire" whose execution kept all sides on equal groundcolin_s
- It WAS an interesting thing to watch. Those dynamics have always been there.

I'm three weeks clean guys!
Gave up on WD after episode 2 of this season. I'm doing okay guys, It's alright to quit. You can do it!

Who were those lesbian-hipster-vinyl-collectors that showed up?
- mg330
I stopped watching three seasons ago or whenever. Not going to pick it back up so can someone just tell me... Is Negan still alive?
