- i heard there is a kong clone army in it.. is it true ?neverscared
- I enjoyed Kong. He's a legend! we need more Kong moviesStoicLevels
- i thought some of the origin stuff was weird and not to my liking but it was cool to see kong in a strange new habitat. the fighting was savage funStoicLevels
- my only caveat was that the spanish people were mostly all portrayed as evil and that was weirdStoicLevels
- Thought the Journey to the centre of the Earth type sequence was good, the rest of it not so much. Was/is more a kids movie I guess.webazoot
- Could have skipped the titan truther plot.pango
- They kept destroying those skyscrapers in HK but they grew back after each scene...totally over the top movie, but lots of fun indeedgrafician

- The perfect companion film to The Big Short. Remarkable writing and directing.nb
- in what order do you watch them?grafician
- start with Debussy and finish on the Bach, never finish on Debussy._niko
- Also great.mort_

- Big Short explains the situation better. I’d watch it first. Margin Call is a better movie when you understand the subtleties.nb
- have y ou seen that panama papers movie tho? that's pretty good toografician

- It's so good. Old-school car chases should give the car's suspension a cast credit.garbage
- The Seven-Ups, French Connection, Bullitt. Shit, even Cobra. Something about the bounce and sway is just so satisfying.garbage
- Primal Scream were inspired to make a brilliant album titled... well, "Vanishing Point" https://en.wikipedia…)Krassy

- One of the rare cases where the American version is better source material.garbage
- Kubrick masterpieceHAL9001
- Oh an to clarify, I meant the American version as in the book. The US release omitted Chapter 21, in which Alex basically goes "OH WELL, WON'T DO CRIME ANYMORE"garbage
- Kubrick made the right call. Can you imagine how much that would ruin the film if that was the ending?garbage

i had no expectations of this, but it was really good
- Love Ismail direction. Beautifully done.Ramanisky2
- This was a great film.Ianbolton
- A great surprise of a movie, went in blind.elahon
- Agree you expect it to be something and it’s not, a pleasant surprise at every scene, loved it._niko
- Yeah, pretty good. Outstays its welcome with at least 30 minutes, though.jagara
- I really didn't like the god/deer 'showing the way' element. Felt very cheesy, but then again I also found most of them intolerable as characters.Nutter
- None of the characters were likeable. But I suspect that was the point.jagara
- I found them all realistic, whether likeable or not. Something always made me question their authenticity, but you could understand why they were how they were.Ianbolton
- Very moody and ominous, lots of build up, but a disappointing payoff.i_monk

Hadn't watched it in 10 years, Jim Jarmusch has a talent for creating uniquely believable worlds and soaking you up in them.
This is just as great as I remembered and deserves to be seen on a big screen with big (not necessarily loud) speakers if you can.
This is cinema rather than a film.Saw it first in 1995 when it came out, one of my top 5 theater experiences.
- yes, yes, yes a thousand times over. So hypnotic and beautiful. That score by Neil Young too, so sparse and haunting. Watched it recently again as well._niko
- I randomly spotted Jarmusch in the street in Paris a few weeks ago. Was dying to ask him a couple questions on his craft but thought "leave that man alone".spl33nidoru
- Not seen this, will defo check out. CheersIanbolton

- Yep — seriously heavy tongue-in-cheek dry humor and satire IN SPADES.
And absolutely entertaining.evilpeacock - He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life.jagara
- nice! new harry potter?milfhunter
- no milf, this is about weird Al not related to Harry Potter sorrymonospaced
- I like Radcliffe, but I think he was merely OK in this. Comedy doesn't seem to be his strong suit.jagara

Really enjoyed this. It’s not quite the romcom coming-of-age vibe the trailer makes it out to be.

- When this came out I bought a DVD cam of this from some guy selling them for a few bucks out of his trunk in a Walmart parking lot. It was hilarious.garbage

where’s the sequel to RocknRolla?Ramanisky2 - Fyi Wrath of Man was so and so
https://www.imdb.com…grafician - @Ramanisky2 that's the right question! :)
Wrath of Man was bad.sted - Wrath of Man was weird. Like he’s tried to do an American film, with a Brit instead of a British film with AmericansIanbolton
- ^ Was it as bad as Revolver?Ramanisky2
- ^Revolver was one of his best!grafician
- BUT yes indeed, Wrath of Man could be another story with the same character played by Stathamgrafician
- +1 and oh good I thought it was just me that didn't like Stath of Man. It was just weird, and needed some more Ritchie levity.MrT

https://www.imdb.com…grafician - his movies are becoming more and more mediocre... in hindsight all his movies are not really that great from the start.neverscared

Snatch is a close 2ndRamanisky2 - Wrath of Man was very jarringly bad. I felt like The Gentleman was totally his "bag of tricks" just the 10th time you've seen it...freakpelican
