Well, the best designers only use a handful. And while clients don't care and the public doesn't know, they sense in a heartbeat the diligent crafting of good work by great firms for clients who know that good design does indeed sell. Show a client a BMW or Nike ad in a magazine laying around. Then turn to any poorly designed (type choice being a critical component) ad and they get it in a heartbeat. They sense the impression of Mom and Pop fly by night vs. a stalwart business they can trust.

I am working on a typeface tshirt that lets you choose your own message and font each day depending on your mood.
It uses liquid crystal technology printed onto the cotton tshirts.
You plug in a usb mini-keyboard to type your message and select your fonts each time you wear the shirt.I am of course, lying.
