Well executed site redesign that makes great use of today's mixed web technologies.

I like that they put the people first in the UI.

loving the free ads for local business.

Pretty pretty good

I find this uninspiring for a very creative agency.
- the challenge is to NOT overshadow the work itself... agency sites have to be A BIT blandvaxorcist
- i have to agree with MrDinky i also find this very uninspiring.souljar001

Really not into this.

Are you guys serious? I think it showcases the company very well.
- MrDinky0
Yap, I am serious. Their previous site, while cool, was just horrible to use. This one is just a blog format of work. Its same as buying a Porsche from a Honda dealership. Functional but fails to convey the emotional connection with the agency brand.
- harlequino0
Yeah, I am. Don't really know what I am looking at, feels like it's trying to soak up some bloggy-twitter-wordcloud-ethos gravy with a sadness biscuit.
And wtf is my grandmother's kitchen wallpaper doing on the right hand margin?

Pretty decent. Personally I prefer http://www.wkshanghai.com/#work/… for some nostalgic charm.
- i like that, but for fucksake! "allow smoothing" please.lvl_13
- MrDinky0
is also nice but bit dated

And let me add that I TOTALLY get an agency's need or perceived need (depending on how you look at it) to use current tech and trends as a core concept. I get that. It's a valid and justifiable thing to do, given what a client will want.
That said, I think you still have to take a step back and ask does this thing make sense and does it do its job to promote us in a memorable and engaging way.
And to me it just doesn't. IMHO.

The site is professional and I can see actual work very quickly, the site acts as a platform to view actual work, which seems to make sense.
I'm not really interested in self indulgent wankery personally.

So what do you guys think of this?
- I wrote them an email. They replied with fuck you.MrDinky
- Looks cheap... free/crowdsourced Joomla template with wiz bangbzsaw
- they have 9 clients? (granted, they're big clients) but only 9?identity
- eh.akrokdesign
- Less is more.
This is horribly crowded. I don't even get what this is about...I should know what this site is about immediately.AVAVA

Didn't care for CP+B's foray into that either, same reasons really.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I feel like all the assorted web tech and twitter-whathaveyous can be done more subtley, with better integration, not so in your face and "Here it is! Doesn't it fuckin rule?!".
I don't have the answers, probably just my reaction as web user and not marketer.- exactly.lvl_13
- you are my hero. about time someone has the balls to go against the grind and see through all this bullshit.jr_fartbox

Ah, but see ugly is the new beautiful. Paying $1,000k for a logo is the new $10k.
Don't ask us why, it just is. Can't ignore trends.

there's so much going on, it's a bit of a mess

Looks like a nice blog template, that is about it.

Way better than their last site, regardless.
