If you live in a major city (NY, London, Vancouver, Mexico City, Tokyo, LA, etc...) you might be able to join the actual Event and run with thousands of people. Check their site for more info.*** You have all day to do do your 10km race on October 24th. from 12:01 am to 11:59pm.

For those interested...... there's some challenge on the nike site which is in preparation to the Human Race. There's so far about 15,000 runners doing miles and getting ready for the main day.

Ok, I haven't been running since June, because of tendinitis.
I think I might be able to join on this one, but I gotta start slow, so probably my first couple of runs shouldn't be over 2kI will be doing all these too:
Now, my brother in law, tells me he has tendinitis, and it never went away 100%, that once you get it, you will have to deal with it for the rest of your life, is this true?
anyone here has completely recovered from it and never felt pain again? just wondering.

how does it work? i feel pain all the fucking time. I had to cut down from running 5 times a week to about 3. Pain moves around too its driving me crazy :D

http://nikerunning.nike.com/nike…***** One thing... :o( I made a lil mistake. I set up the individual and the team challenges to end the 23rd of October when I intended to end them the 24th. One day before the human race. This sucks. Sorry. Nike doesn't allow you to make changes to the end dates.
The other QBN+ Human Race challenge does have the right date. This challenge is only for the 24th so we can all compare our runs that same day of the Human race.
Sorry about the dates people.
And please! Join the challenges! there's only 3 names in there!! That's lame!! Where are the 2 dozen names we usually get!?!

I do have a question though... the Human Race is being run in Columbus, OH - it's the official organized race, but it's being run at 6pm EST on Oct 23rd (the night before) --- is there anyway we can get this to count?

Weird. Just checked and Ohio is the only location that has the race scheduled for the 23rd. The other weird one is California (USC) that has the race for the 24th but at 12 midnight!(?). That's 12:01am! That's just weird. Any other location has the race on the 24th at a decent time.
I am not quite sure about what Nike is thinking there. Maybe it's an error, coz the official Human Race challenge has both the start and end dates on the 24th. It'd be unfair to not include the runs from the folks from Ohio.
I can at least tell you that your run would def count on our QBN challenges, but I don't how Nike would deal with your run that day (23rd) and if it would count towards the Human Race.
