dyspl, how's the work scene in France these days? I know you mentioned it was pretty thin a while ago..
- dyspl0
senseg : no, no problem with traveling. It's just because as many other cities I guess, there's a huge difference between, having some days to see the touristic place and get a taste of the country you are visiting, and living on siyte which implies traffic/jam, renting cost, safety, everyday life pleasures etc.
- dyspl0
kult : well, my point of view about the work scene in Paris was (and is still a bit) greatly influenced by the fact that :
1. I was not fond of working in agencies (bad previous experiences when younger)
2. I do print works, in a niche market -sport-. knowing a huge part of the work is made from web, or luxury, it's quite hard to find jobs with my portfolio.
3.I'm bad at networking.BTW, most of the clients I've worked with are sport brands, or agencies who want a particular look at that time, for a specific project.
Apart from that, there is still plenty of jobs, if you are a good networking, able to also work on web, and have a book that appeals agencies.

Senseg, do you like cities at all? They all look pretty much the same after a few months, if make an exception for the country's architecture, weather and IRS politics. Are you looking for an ideal city or a certain (ideal) lifestyle?

-From feedback on my previous post-
I meant, all the agencies I've been worked for, had L'oreal as client.
Add some perfume+"medical cosmetics", and SOMETIMES regular clients.
So if you fell uncomfortable with luxury graphics (as me), then you have difficulties to find a job, and keep it.About the language, well it's a bit like everywhere else. From my experience, You learn quickly once you're in te country.
The main problem is more getting a work visa if you're not european.
