kult : well, my point of view about the work scene in Paris was (and is still a bit) greatly influenced by the fact that :
    1. I was not fond of working in agencies (bad previous experiences when younger)
    2. I do print works, in a niche market -sport-. knowing a huge part of the work is made from web, or luxury, it's quite hard to find jobs with my portfolio.
    3.I'm bad at networking.

BTW, most of the clients I've worked with are sport brands, or agencies who want a particular look at that time, for a specific project.

Apart from that, there is still plenty of jobs, if you are a good networking, able to also work on web, and have a book that appeals agencies.

    • Is that true that fluent French is required, while English speaking countries are more forgiving?raf
