long lunches away from the desk regardless of work load, you can make up the time later. When do you do find time to waste make sure you really waste it.
This is proving to be an interesting read.

if you can...work from home... that way you can blare music, tv, movies... sit in your underpants... or nothing... take quick breaks to play w/your animal friends / kick someone's ass in Battlefield 2...
... but if you work for someone and you let them keep you at the office for all hours of the day - that sucks and I have no advice but that you suck it up. :)
- the first bit sounds like heaven. apart from the "work" bithitsuji

im in the same boat to be honest. never enough hours in the day. but with some hard work it's possible to change your lifestyle and make things routine. im in the process of listing everything i want to change or improve on and im going to force myself to do it. eventually it will be normal to me and wont be hard work or a chore. same as forcing yourself to the gym for the first time
- easier said than done. because i still havent attempted it yet :-\hitsuji

Compromise financial security for happiness through working 100% freelance... Pick & choose and be content... Buy a bike and force yourself to ride 10KM a day... Walk a lot and avoid the advertising game...

I'm guessing not many have found the answer. Except to get out while you're still relatively young and healthy and go teach or something.

- Make working out and exercise a priority. Everything will be better if youre physically on.
- Set your own hours. I used to work non-stop. A ridiculous amount of hours. Now I work from 9am - 8pm or earlier, Monday through Friday. If clients want me to work late nights or weekends, then they need to pay more.
- Save your money. Stop buying bullshit. Not having to worry about money makes life so much easier.
- Stop fucking around. In all seriousness, if you log what you do all day and why you're working until 2 in the morning, it's because you're doing unnecessary shit. Like checking email, QBN, IMing, twittshit, day dreaming etc. Set a goal each day, get there, do all secondary shit --> second.
- Fap regularly -- eases stress.

I agree with fyoucher, exercising in my opinion is the most important factor in my life that keeps me going... I do work crazy hours... freelancing... but thank God I found something that I love doing which is design, so is not as bad as working crazy hours for something you don't like (a positive way to keep things going). Cheers to all....

My cousin works in the ER at LA County and he tells me that people don't know the meaning of the word 'Tired' till they've worked double-shifts.
