I dont really do this, but thought I'd ask people what you all thought of my work/website. I just graduated art school in 2008. What do you think?

• Too many typefaces
• Nothing feels complete
• Auto-center the page
• Like the color pallete, except for the "blue"
• Content is too small (images, video)
• Feels like a students portfolio
• Needs some finessing

needs some consistency. you don't have to do different things for each elements: logo/nav/project headers, it makes it look cluttered and not very refined.
work is ok

more on the work, less on the web

- wot no home page content? you've got nothing to say, or you expect me to do all the work?
- You should specify which pieces are academic studies.
- Neither Llorente nor npr.org work?
- I'm not sure why you've called your graphics 'print pieces' - you only have the book cover? I'd photoshop out the wrap glitch on the right hand side of those photos too.
- I absolutely fucking hate indeterminate small block graphic links - i did 8 years ago when they were rife, I do today. Mystery meat navigation is lazy, presumptuous and naff. Thumbnails or text links please!
- page titles & meta content would be useful if you've done your site entirely in flash.
- the web section is completely shite - c'mon, try a little harder, man.
- why the distinction between motion and reel? You have a brilliant name, for which I will ever admire you. But now you must live up to it. Be strong, Kirk - I know that deep down you are a titan.

Some thoughts:
Your resume design is better than your site design.Don't dig the blue. and don't like the gray background occupying too much space. However, I like yellow, white, and gray together. The gray being so dominant feels like dull silverware.
There's a bit too much white space going on, maybe because of the separator lines you have going on.
Things are kinda scrunched up in lil corners and spaced out oddly.
Why not make resume and contact part of the main nav area?
Don't dig how ur doing the "//" in front of titles, that's too advanced.
