Believe me ... if I had more than one beer I'm not getting into the drivers seat ... and I really do not go out to places like that often
once in a blue moon ... and then this shit happens yikes

Excellent story. Please don't forget it.
Had a friend that had something similar happen, problem is he didn't learn his lesson, did the same thing a few weeks later and got a DUI.
I think when you are borderline like you where, they definitely did the right thing. When people are just flat out waisted and driving, that's when I the police should arrest them and throw away their license.

i really wish i had time to type out a tale of debauchery and close calls from about 2 years ago. good qbn story, for sure.

in arizona they would have sent you straight to jail where you have to spent the next 4 months or so of your life while on work release. first offensive, straight to jail now in arizona. toughest laws in america, pretty messed up considering you have to drive anywhere in arizona...ah well...at least he was cool and realized it wasn't worth screwing your life over considering you only had a few beers.

Speaking from experience, having crashed my BMW into the back of a milk truck (ironclad), you got very lucky and good for you. I got a DUI and still haven't spoke to a police officer through the entire process. Sad part, I wasn't even that drunk, I turned my head in an attempt to pick something up and WHAM!... I had to go to the hospital to get stitches in my lip, completely sliced. At that point, they were forced to draw blook and determined my blood alcohol level, which was then reported to the police. Crazy!

That sucks, glad it all worked out.
I never drive drunk, but I do on occasions drive with a few beers in me. But I mostly cab it everywhere, or have people drive me around.

I can't believe they still use this type of test, we're fucked in the UK, blow into this breathalyzer and kiss your license goodbye.
- blow into his mouth and kiss his badge - might get you off.mistermik

Ramanisky you lucky SOB! haha

you are very lucky. this should prove a point to you though, a $30 cab ride is far cheaper than a $10,000 DUI and the possibility of hurting someone.
we've all done it, I'm certainly not innocent of driving past the point of the legal limit (though I never drive if I think my judgment is impaired). But now I just cab ride or use a DD. it's really just not worth it.- DD as in Double D's bimbo that can drive you home?OSFA
