Ok, technically not work (I was 12) but this was a serious attempt by me to reproduce Turner's "The Fighting Temeraire". I remember drawing it with a bunch of crappy felt tips in my late Grandma's front room in Accrington 1982 with one eye on christmas telly. Anyway, one's mine, and one's Turner's - guess which?
- Hahaha, great. Nice one P.

Back when I was in college in the eighties I contemplated switching from my btec general art and design to study industrial design at Coventry's Lanchester Poly. Specifically to become a car designer.
I guess I was trying to emulate those car designers that used magic markers and pastels to show their creations. Gave me a good understanding of how to use magic markers anyway.- wickeddigdre

Just found these online by pure chance. Two fashion brand identities (and brand personalities). One is for a range of italian made shoes with a huge share of the Japanese fashion market at the time. The other for an ill-fated premium menswear range from the Caterpillar stable that was designed under commission by 7876 founding designer Kenneth MacKenzie to be ludicrously expensive. An foolhardy exercise in pushing the Caterpillar brand into prestigious territory.
Both of these projects pretty much sank the company, which very sadly died in 2002.
This is probably all that exists of either project now... the onscreen work that was commissioned by (a then fledgling) online design studio Fibre.
