This is a prime example of why Republicans attract the lowest common denominator in this country:

It's not the same when a liberal does something, because theres always an excuse. Bill Maher is a entertainer, its not like a radio host at allllllllllllll.

Earlier today, Buzzfeed’s Ben Smith announced on Twitter that video researcher Andrew Kaczynski had released “the mysterious Harvard/Obama/race video that the Breitbart folks have been talking about.”
The video, which Kaczynski says was “licensed from a Boston television station,” shows a young Barack Obama leading a protest at Harvard Law School on behalf of Prof. Derrick Bell, a radical academic tied to Jeremiah Wright--about whom we will be releasing significant information in the coming hours.
However, the video has been selectively edited--either by the Boston television station or by Buzzfeed itself. Over the course of the day, Breitbart.com will be releasing additional footage that has been hidden by Obama's allies in the mainstream media and academia.
Breitbart.com Editor-in-Chief Joel Pollak and Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro will appear on The Sean Hannity Show to discuss the tape. The full tape will be released tonight on Fox News' Hannity.

Republicans backing down on birth control fight
House Republican leaders are taking their foot off the gas, slowing down plans to pass legislation taking aim at the Obama administration’s contraception coverage requirement, according to sources close to leadership.
More evidence that the GOP is ready to relent: Senate Republican leaders have abandoned what they once considered winning turf, and gone silent after weeks of publicly attacking President Obama and Democrats for infringing on religious liberties.

Another reason why I truly believe the sad fact, that the "Left" will win out in the long run and leave this country in shambles...
There are more and more of these types of people created every day within the system the Left support–an unregulated welfare state, thus creating more and more voters dependent on the very system that created them.
Public assistance pulled from lottery winner
A Michigan woman who won the lottery but continued to receive food assistance from the state government has had her benefits pulled, officials said.
After taking a lump sum and paying taxes, the unemployed woman said she ended up with just more than $500,000.
Asked if she had the right to the public assistance money, Clayton answered, "I kind of do. I have no income, and I have bills to pay. I have two houses."
Clayton told WDIV she had wanted to continue using a food-assistance card until it is cut off. "It's hard. I am struggling."
- Ha, you are a massive dipshit. This woman is a fraud but this pales in comparison to other spending.DrBombay

whatever! a one in a million chance that anyone on this planet is going to win $1million dollars again while being on public assistance. Need to worry? Doubt it. A good opportunity to exploit the program. Lucky winners who were down on their luck, get judged by the jnews media... meanwhile the 1% continue to steal and rape the country.
What should be more shocking is that reporters stalk lottery winners to get a good story.
- missed the point buddy. Its not a literal case example idiot. The example is perpetual parasitic creation the left creates.whhipped
- perfectly well bodied and minded people doing nothing for the payment from others. Lazy pieces of shit.whhipped

- i guess your ignorance is blinded by statistical facts being one out of a million chance.omg
- your main point is that you'd love to use this story to justify your cause which miserably FAILED!omg
- but at the same time, things can be situation to prevent such matters.omg
- daily check-ins to check to see if you won a million dollars or not in the past month...omg

yea, JazX is totally correct. There are only poor democrats on public assistance, right?
Never ever in the history of America has their been a republican on welfare. All those broke ass Southern red states? All broke democrats.you sir, are the fucking idiot.
- way to turn it into something I didnt state. Its not the poor its the government programs that create dependencies and entitlements.whhipped
- Just go ahead and use the word "Nigger"DrBombay
- entitlements. + a higher % of people dependent on government assistance and/or benefits vote left. Not poor.whhipped
- Dr. what are you talking about bro?whhipped
- Don't call me bro.DrBombay

at least 100% of welfare goes back into the economy.. can't say the same for corporate tax breaks and bailout bonuses. but yea, blame the poor people who choose a shitty quality of life. You bitch about it but the only way around it is education. last time i checked. schools are broke and many teachers are on, you guessed it, unemployment.

Using this idiot of a woman as an example of why, as you allege, the whole welfare/foodstamp system should be scrapped is bull. For every one of her there are thousands of families who, whether it be a bad economic decision (including trying to start one of those small businesses the Repubs claim to love so much), happenstance (an injury or calamity), need assistance in order to put food on the table and pay the bills.
Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater!
Wouldn't it be better to hone the processes used to determine eligibility. Instead of having applicants volunteer info when their income changes, make it easier and more frequent, to report those changes. Also make it clear that the difference of 10 or 20 dollars is not going to drop you off the deep end and bring you from receiving, say, $200 of assistance to nothing.
And maybe with large increases, such as this lottery, give them 6 weeks to report it. And if it's not reported in that time, they have to pay back the support given after that point.

Can we go back to Pat Robertson backing marijuana legalization for a moment?
