Flash ruined my file? 1818 Responses

I'm working on a simple flash file which had about 7 layers in it.
I closed it and then opened it up again and now the whole animation sits on 1 single layer. It seems to have lost all my layers. Is this an known issue?

accidently nested it? you were looking inside an mc with 7 layers and thought you were looking at the root timeline?

not a movie clip or anything, I'm at root level. Looks like it screwed up, oh well, that's a morning's work down the drain!

Redid it this morning, and it's all ok now, still don't know what happened, saved various versions now so it's backedup now.
Haven't used flash for ages and the first file I make, packs up.
Can't believe how crap flash cs3 is, the typographic controls are shit, shouldn't have expected much
