got into it with him a few times. always ended the same way...
as some have mentioned, it could have been an experiment, or it could have been a something else.never met the guy personally, so i guess i have nothing more to say.

I never knew JJ, it was before my time. I caught the tail end of his bombing campaign here, but missed the main spectacle.
Of the posts I did catch, which were numerous, I felt very sad about what I read despite not knowing him. I had a friend a number of years ago who went exactly... EXACTLY the same way. The delusions and beliefs, the elevation, the conviction that he'd seen the fundamental mechanisms of the cosmos and was somehow illuminated and deified as a result. The whole thing about his life so far converging on one spark of unification with yourself as a homunulous representation of meaning of everything, the strange mixture of supreme godliness with dark as hell violent threats and fascination with brutal destruction.. the whole thing, almost word for word. Its like hyper-autism of the logic facility or something.
Before he got slapped off here completely I thought I might try to get a conversation going with him. My friend got caught up in all sorts of crazy .orgs online as his delusion took hold, and the last thing he did was join up with "the lightworkers" who told him he was god I think. I had a strange feeling this JJ guy might also have been in contact with one of the same organisations as my friend, becuase the stuff he was spouting off was almost identical in its theories, its mechanisms and even in the written style. Some of the things he wrote actually made me think it was my friend, back from oblivion.
Sadly, the other person never came back from his state of mind and eventually just went completely off the field. Last heard of in 2001, talking about Debbie Gibson being the cente of the universe.
This JJ needs help, but he doesn't know he needs help. He thinks he's the crucial spark in a giant cosmic device and everything else is just irrelevant playstuff.

I have no idea who he was or what he did. I think it's probably better that way.

Hello Creative, you've been a bit quiet of late. Busy? What's happening?
I've been planting the hallowed Timeline tree here and there.

It was a social experiment gone bad.
He couldn’t understand how complete strangers who never met could be friends or enemies online. How people only existing as screen names could become friends and care for one another, or become absolute enemies for no real reason. His propeller to the face comment meant he was the center of the propeller and we were all at various parts on the blades spinning around him. He could say whatever and do whatever and we all played into his game making him the center of attention on our internet. We don’t know him, yet he could make us hate him.
It was all a complex reality for a complex question that has such a simple answer. It’s an online community. Community being the key word. QBN is the equivalent to what pen pals were 50 years ago. Strangers sharing the same principle ideas communicating and caring for one other via paper. I don’t believe he truly hated Jaline or I, I think he just picked out two regulars as test subject to get violent with so he could sit back and watch the shit pot he created.
I still don’t understand how someone so smart and talented can miss the entire point of a social network and it’s communication... I mean he’s a f*cking designer, aren’t our designs MEANT to communicate with our users? Same thing... He just lost touch with his own reality.
- I believe garrett west was an earlier adaption of this social experiment as well, but can't prove it.kona

I've met him on a few different occasions. He's a nice guy in person, offered to pick up the tab every time. He did have some pretty strong feelings though towards this site and certain people on it. At first I kind of agreed with him but then the subject seemed to become obsessive in a way, kind of strange.
His personality here at first was very positive, but over time it seems like this site, some of the people here and the content really got to him, to the point where he went on the attack. Very strange, but a very talented person nonetheless.
