;)
yes i have. many. LAN is by far the best, IMO. they are one of my favorite airlines worldwide, actually.
Aerolineas Argentinas is another, but again; for the reliability and comfort factor, I have prefered LAN.
KLM, United, BA, and others fly there as well from the US.

LOfuckingL at the "my ticket to amsterdam was only $600..." statement. you do realize there are about 40 reasons why that transport is so low, right? namely, the population taking those bookings is about 10 fold.

(Sep 26 07, 07:51)well yeah obviously...i knew i would get shit for that hahaha.
anyway, thanks for the info madirish. have you taken flights within argentina?
- madirish0
1100 is going to be standard. might vary a little depending on specials, but it is about right.

regardless, you can take the LAN flight through miami, houston, LA, or maybe DC, although those flights are becoming fewer.
you can try TACA, LAN, US carriers partnered with them (star alliance i think) and others that are low-cost.... but i personally (from expereince) would avoid them.

not sure calles. all the tickets i have found either transfer in chi-town or austin texas (i think)...
$1100 seems kind of steep, but maybe not. my ticket to amsterdam was only $600...

i dont know... can you get a flight to miami and transfer to LAN Argentina?

Hey, I'm from BsAS as well,
make sure you go down to the south of Argentina.... San Martin, Villa Langostura...Shame that you are going in March, because Punta del Este(Uruguay), is a really good place to go in Dec/Jan.

bump!
new question. ticket prices: what should i expect as far as flight costs? it seems that around $1100/per person is pretty standard.
anyone got anything better for flight tickets? $1100 seems to be pretty expensive considering it costs that much to fly to tokyo...
