I'm not talking about sports today. very rough weekend all around for SD.
just looking forward to my tix for the bolts vs. raiders game cuz that's one they might actually win.
sigh...
- morilla0
Think again Noco, Raiders are bringing it, they have a boulder on their shoulders to settle with SD.
Burgess is gonna rip LTs head off and reveal the face behind the visor.
- nocomply0
haha morilla... we will just have to see.
if i were you i'd go after gates. he's the one making all the plays this year.

no worries point5. actually, if berrian hadn't dropped the ball that hit his shoulder pad (very catchable) i think the bears could have actually won the game. that was really the turning point.
then he goes on to drop 2 more very catchable passes. urlacher looked horrible in the second half. on one play he's going for the qb, looked like it was going to be a sack and he turns and hits the center and romo scoots around. wha!?!
archeletta... wow... horrible.
i gotta take detroit next week as rex has to sit all week getting murdered in the press wondering about his position. mentally he's gone for the season.
gotta give it up to romo and the team. they played really well.

I think we all saw that face this week after the game. It was the one that was pouting and had tears in it's eyes.
- k0na_an0k0
haha. yeah that was pretty sad.

what a beautiful Sunday

How many games are the Dolphins going to spot John Beck?
- morilla0
they have no reason not to play him.
- blaw0
i think mcnabb's o.line hates him, though i remain unconvinced it's race-related.
- k0na_an0k0
haha. i saw that loss coming a mile away blaw.
pit and sd though!?! wow. that no one saw coming.
to win our football pool outright i gotta have cinci win tonight. if new england wins it goes to a tiebreaker with another guy over the score. 200 bucks are on the line. :)
- blaw0
i was a bit worried about the steelers going into yesterday's game. that kurt warner stuff impressed me a week ago, an the arizona offense put on a good show again yesterday.
man, i wish you luck but those bengals are not where i'd want my money tonight. what's the tie-breaker?
- k0na_an0k0
if new england wins the tiebreaker comes down to the final score.
i guessed the score to be 34-27 new england. but we all took new england in the pool, so if they lose i have the most points and i'd automatically win.
if me and the other guy guessed the same score for the game it comes down to who guessed the correct final score of the philly / giants game. and seeing as how i guessed the giants to win and the other guy guessed philly to win i'd win the pot.
we got 20 guys who pitch in 10 bucks a week. we got a group set up on yahoo that we make our picks with each week.
last week i would have won if the bears won. it was a stupid call on my part. i bet with my heart and not with my money. 9 times out of 10 i would have taken the cowboys but i wanted to believe the bears would win. dumbdumbdumb.
- blaw0
$10 to make every game throughout the weekend worth watching. how can you beat that?
good luck. sounds like you've got good odds tonight.
re: bears v. cowboys. i understand where you were coming from, but grossman seemed determined to get benched this year. i guess all his efforts toward that goal paid off. i was surprised griese struggled so much yesterday.

blaw
(Oct 1 07, 09:50)yeah, i thought for sure griese was going to look really good but i still picked detroit to win. haha. it wasn't the most popular guy at the football party yesterday but i was the one laughing after detroit won.
sucks that everyone is blaming grossman so much.
beriam has dropped 5 balls in two games, muhammed can't get open cause he's slow, and we have no running game, what little running game we do have has dropped the ball 3 times in two games. it's tuff to look good when you got that shit going against you.
