yeah that commonvoice article lost me with that silly bias after a few lines
and Romney would be more of the same (just more articulate and intelligent)... policies are straight up conservative/religious right. I have no idea how he got elected here in MA

giuliani is divorced and pretty much got busted fucking around on his wife, do not underestimate the fundamentalists and negative ads.

(Nov 28 06, 10:09)it's also nice to see that once his wife and gf kicked him to the curb he moved into chelsea with two gay "friends" and their poodle. talk about a hugging republican, I really think that's what put him on the top of the polls... mpfree, you should follow suit and do the same, you can be a hugging republican too...

didnt giuliani make it so only rich people can live in manhattan?

When you finish 5 places behind Bush dead last in a poll you have to wonder... was it really because of one bad joke?
Rudy cleaned up NY and made it respectable again.

Don't absolve the American voters of all their crimes. Anyone voting for Bush over Kerry just had blood on their hands. It's not Kerry's fault if the country can't make a no-brainer decision.

(Nov 28 06, 10:19)let me rephrase that, didnt he make it so that poor people cant live in manhattan?

absolve american voters of their crimes, cybrain?
so americans who voted for Bush are criminal?
do you happen to say 'duhhhhhhhhhhh' for a number of minutes to yourself before you type something?

(Nov 28 06, 10:19)yeah, a couple of obvious points. I was actually in AZ when he got elected, where you expect Romney types to be popular – anyway the psyche in MA has nothing to do with age

(Nov 28 06, 10:27)... or... OR..... try this one on dobs...
... people actually vote 'their conscience'.
far-fetched!! I know!!! :)
- mrdobolina0
how did bush voters vote with their conscience?
Please elaborate?
- pavlovs_dog0
bush should have been aborted.

giuliani is credited with cleaning up the city, though the crime rate dropped pretty much everywhere in the country around the same time and the rest was the work of the police commissioner. he did sanitize times square, which basically amounted to him selling off a bunch of public land to disney. he serves his corporate interests just like any good politician should.
acescence
(Nov 28 06, 10:14)actually what cleaned up the city was the fact that the NYPD were allowed to carry glock 9mm with full magazines for their "undercover" divisions. it's these same un-uniformed officers that have been reeking havoc on the city for years. such as this recent event this past weekend http://www.nydailynews.com/front…
- Mimio0
I think people voted for Bush emotionally and intuitionally...and American voters don't know their shit from clay. They re-elected that guy who had no plan(or idea) to correct this country's path.
- johndiggity0
dobs, why is everyone who does not share your view somehow wrong or using flawed logic?
- Mimio0
lol ^ Intuitively
- OSFA0
I'm sure this will put a stop to this argument.
Let's vote for Hillary!
*grabs ice cream, sits back and waits for crazy ass reactions...

(Nov 28 06, 10:29)On what issues?
Blown out of proportion ones "in America's heartland", or ones that actually affect most of the population?
There is a reason why most major cities vote almost overwhelmingly Democratic and country bumkins vote Republican.
