Sunday was a nutty episode... gotta love the part where he asks the married couple for 'relationship advice' before he ends them...
... next week looks nutty! Dex is sloppy and the ice Truck Killa is attempting to out Dexter's vigilante side...

(Oct 23 06, 10:01)That would be Erin Daniels from The L Word! Except she probably was just in the one episode.
dobs, the show has been picked up for another season, but judging by how viewers are getting more impatient as time goes (in terms of all tv shows), I'm guessing Dexter will have this solved by the end of the season and another mystery will come up in the next season. At least I'm hoping the show follows convention just in that way, otherwise it'll drag on for too long.
Love this show. Showtime (and HBO) always have the best stuff and my fascination with blood and forensics is almost satisfied by watching this show. The characters (Dexter, his sister, and his girlfriend being the most appealing) are all great as well. I hope this show wins some awards next year...

Is this only supposed to go one season? Then you guys maybe right. If there is going to be a season 2, Im not sure.

damn ponyboy..... good hypothesis... i bet your right.

oh! How 'bout this?
The Ice Truck Killer is none other than they're (dexter and his sis) 'other foster father' of sorts - the Police Chief himself!
Think about it - the chief treats the two like they're his own children... then goes so far as to push for the promotion of the sister w/her LT so that he'll end up putting Dexter in some 'super hero' choice... Save the Family Member or let the Bus w/kids fall in the river? nahmean?
Also recall conversations amongs many at the precint in regards to Dexter and his Sis's father and his relationship to the chief - the LT is rather jealous of it.
So there it is... that's my prediction - the chief is sucking Dexter in and enthralling him so much that Dexter will probably lose site of someone close to him - either his girlfriend & her kids or his sister...
... either way - I feel as if the writer is moving us into a super-hero-like decision-making position for Dexter... that will enevitably end in the death of the Police chief... someone Dexter always thought was 'good', which will probably break Dexter emotionally too and really send him spinning...
btw... Dex's girl was suuu-eeexxxxxy as a Blonde, skinny... slightly creepy in an innocent "I've been beat and left for dead" sort of way... yes?

i think the ice truck killer is the black cop (can't remeber his name). he's the only one creeped out by Dex.... takes one to know one.

for some reason I started to think that maybe his sister might have something to do with the murders ....
hmmmmm .......
that would be pretty fucked up
I agree with dopepope ...
that it might be someone in law enforcement thats committing the murders

that would be too easy and lame if he was the killer.
I was thinking it is either his original dad or mom.

another great episode indeed!!
pski... naaah... that would ruin it if he were the killer... don't you think?
Meh... I guess I just don't want him to be... that would be a 'lame' cop-out...
What I really love is how they're really focusing on the other characters now (the cop who slept w/the other cop's sister... the Puerto Rican fella too... especially his story last night... the whole time you think he's this silly dude w/'bad taste' in jewelry... but in the end you realize he's exceptionally humble and ashamed for whatever he did, and all he wants is his family back)...
... anyway... +5 for lastnight...
... two more thumbs up!

he & the ice truck killer are the same person.

Yeah, Janne I always hated that b/c I couldn't get the wallpapers and hi-res photos unless I went through Google's cache (which doesn't always work) or they're uploaded at someone else's site.
Anyhoo...I haven't figured out why they don't allow others there...maybe to discourage downloading episodes since Showtime and HBO don't really exist in Canada.

We at Showtime Online express our apologies; however, these pages are intended for access only from within the United States.

I watch a lot of TV (lots of CSI included) so I think I can take it. The only gory thing that was hard to watch was Final Destination 3, lol.
- Ramanisky20
you will enjoy it Jaline but it is a very dark subject matter
there are some very gory scenes

I think Michael C. Hall is a lot hotter on this show than Six Feet Under....and it doesn't have to do with his gayness in the previous show. He's just....different...(from what I can see from the previews, since I haven't seen an episode yet (will be watching it in the next few days)).
Anyway, any forensic-based show that has great writing will be worth watching.
- PonyBoy0
...but then the show would suck.

ain't that the truth. :)This... btw... is NOT a show I'd let my kids watch... specifically for the way it relates to kids (Dexter's earlier self) and the way Dexter is 'taught' to handle his urges (which supposedly aren't his fault either...)...
But... if not for the fact that Dexter kills in such a sadistic manner... would he not just be another comic book super-hero like Spidey and Batman who kill ALL THE TIME?
It's this notion of him being a sadistic 'serial killer' rather than a masked vigilante in tights (but w/the same result) that keeps me absorbed to this concept.
- dopepope0
right. On the one hand, if he kills for good, then it's ok, or on the other hand, he's still killing, and hasn't the right to do so... so there's why it's hard to decide. The Dad could be doing more to stop the killing altogether. But then the show would suck.
