Is Sky News like the UK's version of Fox News?
Just a dumb Yank asking...
- lowimpakt0

the moving news of the world
- jamble0
Not quite, Sky do occasionally report actual truths but by and large, it's not great.

Sky is a timid, tamed version of Fox.

I dig the Galloway guy, but hey I'm of Irish descent..
Used to drink myself silly in a bar called Galway Bay..maybe that's why I like the guy. Good times...

Er, Sure! I guess. I mean I suppose. Not really sure what you mean by "sound", but if it'll get me a free drink somewhere I'm for it..

shame my tshirts are still so hideously current, 4 years on...

yeh - he's pretty much talking(&shouting) about what most people are trying to ignore and that's why so many people seem to be against him. I think its great he beat labour in Bethnal Green!
- Engage0
I'm confused about the whole situation... where can I actually get a truthful history of it all...
not sure what is true and what is not?I think the newsreader stood her ground fairly well though considering!

I've just written to my MP asking why our govt is making money out of the conflict - last year British arms exports to Israel doubled from 2004 to upwards of £25 million.
If Blair won't call for an immediate ceasefire, then our government MUST comply with it's own arms export rules and IMMEDIATELY suspend all UK arms exports to Israel.
Write to your MP here:

It's actually quite refreshing to hear a politician speak their mind. Despite the antics.
And he does have a fair point about the hypocrisy of it all.
And full marks for what he did at the senate a while back. Massive cohones.
