Isn't Jevad going to lose his working visa when ge gets divorced?
- jevad0
ghandolf thankyou for those words of clarity
" You could also counterfile for 'separation'"
I did not know about this. I am still reeling that she has actually started on papers without even talking to me.
her judgement in my opinion is being clouded by the way she feels right now and I firmly believe that given time - 3. 6 whatever amount of months, that she will 'see the light'.
to that respect I have decided that I will not be signing any divorce papers that she may want me to.
We still need to talk - we havent spoken since sunday - but I need a lot more time before I can do that

(May 17 05, 14:17)This is also of great concern to me and something I fear she has overlooked

way to be jevad. she needs to respect your opinion on the matter, so take as long as you need brothaman.

the company you are working with, can they not file for a quick H1? the quick one costs $1,000 extra ($1,700 in total, i think) but you might want to see if that is an option.

is missus Tinworth American? I never knew that, always thought she was British..
- mattyd0
jevad, if youre willing, im totally down to flying to CO and doing some covert operations to get your dog back.
or i could befriend her, then give a cloth to her and ask 'does the smell like peroxide?' and when she's out, grab the dog.
- jevad0
American - that's how I am able to work here janne
- vb_0
ah, that makes it all triple shite.
i'd postpone the divorce as long as possible and make her think about it a lil' harder. she will ruin more then necessary..
first her love&trust, then the dog, then your job&house?
fuck no.
and if it gets too much, and you have the time, get drunk and enjoy simple things like silly music, no depressing stuff or anything.. and don't go drive or anything when highly emotional and/or drunk, PLEASE!!
remember, there are people who really really appreciate you lots, even though we live far away. once we will meet, nic.
chin up, mate!

I think there are ways your employer could help you, presenting you to the authorities as a valuable employee who couldn't be replaced easily.
But if you have to leave the country, it may turn out even better for you. Forced to move to another stop on your life's trip? What's next, Australia maybe? This is book worthy, a lot of people could envy you :)
Once leaving my country for six months helped me a great deal get over a break up.
Same places, same situations, same scents, sounds, this isn't making it easier for you.
Looking from this point, it's good she took the dog. It may sound harsh now, but from my observation the party that gets to keep the pet is getting stuck with the memories much stronger.

(May 17 05, 14:29)is she hot?
ah but seriously you guys have no fucking idea how much I value all your comments, wether piss take or serious, and all your thoughts and advice...it is really overwhelming and I can't thank you enough for helping me through this.
The next stop if I do decide to move on, is back to hong kong...but it would be a bittersweet return indeed to be going back under these circumstances. I had always envisioned earning and working my way back home. With her.
- vb_0
would you consider going back to London instead.. for a while?
- vb_0
bah.. what am i talking..
just let her think things over REAL HARD... things may trun out for the better..
you should relax now, nic.
do what is necessary and ease yourself with some good JD's or something like it.
