rabattski, give me a break. I could see you persuading me not to buy an SUV, but non-automotive transport is extremely difficult in the U.S. My route to work is 10 miles and includes minimal sidewalks. Take that on a bike, I'll add another hour to my get-up time, and I'm up at 5am to get their own time. Plus like you said, no woman wants to be carted around a made-for-cars city on a bike.
Give me a break guys, I just want info on your experience with loans.

And don't tell me any of you males do not consider what the opposite sex thinks of your ride. Because you're lying. Unless you're gay.

well sorry to slag you off or something. seriously. but i'm just talking about getting a smaller, less polluting with a better mileage car. i'm not saying walk or get a bicycle. i mean, do you really need an suv? do you? you know that suv's pollute this world way more than a smaller environmentally more friendly car? a world where not just you live in.

I dont have a car and I live in the states. I live quite a productive life, with ladies. Dont be a slave to your ride, dude.
- rabattski0
i rather save some gas and spare the environment a bit more than to make sure chicks look at my ride. hey, if chicks would only dig me because of my ride than i for sure am not interested in those chicks because that is so superficial.

(Mar 8 05, 05:45)All I'm saying is the kind of girl who won't go with you because you don't have an SUV is exactly the kind you don't want in the first place.
Same way that a bloke who is only interested in bimbos with fake tits.... Works both ways.

fate redux lacks game, apparently.

just get a honda element. it's reliable, new, fuel efficient and very spacious. if you really can't shell out a couple thousand more for it, get a used wagon of some sort. if you NEED 4 wheel drive, get a subaru wagon or an audi wagon with all-wheel drive.

I don't think there's anything wrong ith getting a loan to get a car if you need one.
I wouldn't buy an SUV though. Maybe a landrover if i lived on a farm or in the countryside.
- mrdobolina0
plus, a tahoe is pretty country/western, ya know?
- fate_redux0
I live in Indiana, mrDobs. I drive a Dodge Ram on the job.
When in Rome...

I'm getting a loan for a horse

used landrovers are exactly the gas guzzling suv's that everyone complains about. they have a very weak v8 and get as good of miles per gallon as a hummer h2.
- rabattski0
exactly 1 hp. that's hellacool.

Never. Even in Highschool. Never. But back to your question. Check with several banks to find out what the percentage rates are like. I'd go with a 3 year loan. Some banks won't go further than a 3 year loan for under 10g. Good luck. Oh, and get a honda... and some game.
=P

(Mar 8 05, 05:45)oh fuck off. we don't have that kind of lowlife culture here.

fate_redux, I just got a loan a few months ago. I got a $12500 loan at 5.7% for 4 years. I tried for a three yr. but I couldn't afford my monthly payments. I took the 4 year and I pay $239.34 a month. By year 3 (if I want) I can use it as a trade in for something different.
As far as the suv goes you should consider gas milage because prices will go up in the coming years. The oil industry is going crazy right now with demand and Saudi Arabia is forcasting $80 a barrel in the next few years... I went for something small and fast and I only pay $5 more than I did with my '89 Volvo...
...good luck. Loans aren't so bad if you can afford your payments and contrary to popular beliefs loans are good for the economy (*hint: interest rates)...
- fate_redux0
mrdobs, don't poke fun, I can't help where I live :p
Thanks for the info IRNlun6. People have told me to be wary of a 5 year and I think a 3 year would kill my pocket book.
