I went to a friday prayer in Barcelona when we were visiting the city 2 years ago. I had found this mosque in an apartment on a street off of Rambla by asking some local shopowners.
As I entered I was really surprised with the diversity of the congregation. African, Pakistani/Afghan, Saudi looking men. Not a group of people that you see often in Turkey.
They looked at me like they were surprised with my look, I remember I felt a bit embarassed, I was wearing a hawaii shirt, shorts and sunglasses looking just like a tourist.Anyways it wasn't a nice mosque at all, dirty, hot and it smelled. I just did my obligatory prayer and left there in 5 minutes.
