vespa.......try adding only ginger and some blackpeppercorns and brewing the tea strong with milk.....and instead of biscuits try this tea with "pakoras" on a rainy day......... it's true love.

i'm going to have to disagree here - tea is the base ingredient, sugar is an enhancement to the flavour of the tea. much in the way putting salt and pepper on a tomato completes the dish, sugar does the same to tea esp. a strong bitter tea like assam. its simple chemistry!

another good variation of tea i had was what they have in Singapore and Malaysia....it is actually spelled and called Teh Tarik. haha
brew some black tea and add sweetened condensed milk...and shake it....mmmmmmmm
