but Ralph said there's no diff. b'tween gore and bush - that was his platform. it was the biggest lie in 2000 - in hindsight - and a huge disservice. he's lost all cred. just on the war and the environment - the differences are obvious. and enron and the like? (it would still be a huge story if it wasn't for those islamo-fascist fuck heads.)

a vote for nader is a wasted vote, simple and plain.

Gimme a break. Things would be way safer under Kerry than under Bush. Bush recieved plenty of intel about the fact that an attack was imminent before 9/11 and what did he do? Nada.
- monkeyshine0
Yeah, but Kerry was sitting right there in congress when all this went down...right under his nose.
Why wasn't he speaking up then, when it really mattered?
I'll vote for whoever has the best chance of ousting Bush but I am angry with the spineless democrats. I think half of them should be fired too.

just a prediction, that's all

clown.
- lovaboy0
well I agree with you up to the last two lines.

vote with your brains, not your heart.
voting for nader won't change the corrupt system one iota. face it.
- TransFatty0
there is so much wrong with that statement kpl.

yeah, you're right, there is an effect. it'll make the system worse by removing a sizable fringe constituency from the Democrats, prompting them to move further to the right to get votes.

and tell me bush and gore are the same.
- TransFatty0
nader fills a void apparently.
as we have seen all too clearly...
so whose fault is that ?

Telling Nader not to run is idiotic. Nobody lost the election for Gore, he lost it himself by being a waffling robot. He would've won 2000 had he carried his goddamn home state of Tennessee.
This country needs the Green party desperately. Maybe they should team up with Kucinich.
- BonSeff0
ya know, instead of thinking nader could be a spoiler, they should just urge more people to vote, for whomever.
- GreedoLives0
Wanna bet that turnout this year will be a record high? I wouldn't worry too much about Nader, every liberal/lefty is so scared of another 4 years of Bush that he'll clock in at well under two percent.

its never to soon to try and establish a thrid (green) party as a legitimate player in the national political scene. of course we can put off such a push until the future, but the naivety in assuming there won't be urgent issues then is gross.
if you're in a state controlled by democrats, i say go out and vote for nader. help get that 10% (is it 10?). if there's one thing we all should know from last time, it's that the popular vote counts for jack squat.
- BonSeff0
well the bush folks have been registering necks at nascar races

on the other hand,
my prediction for the election...
it's going to be a lot closer than we all think. bush is quite a salesman.
