perhaps
but do you think gore would have been much better
?
seriously ... all things happen for a reason
- ikbenvanrijn0
as for gore to win vs nader, not really.
ithink i'd rather have nader in as supposed to kerry, but nader wont win vs bush. nader will take away votes from kerry.
- paulrand0
all things happening for a reason doesn't necessarily bode well for the tiny yous and mes sacrificed for the greater whole
- mrdobolina0
the funny thing is, all the people out there voting for nader will be, in reality, helping the republicans, which is the exact opposite of what they believe.
- Rementera0
you've gotta give nader credit for challenging the status quo.
- TransFatty0
do people realize that a vote for nader is a vote for bush. yes.
am i gonna vote for nader when i get to the polls ? maybe ... maybe not.
do i like the idea of nader NOT running just to HELP the democrats ? hell no.
thank god we have a nader.

If you want a third party candidate, either move out of the US or change the constitution. We have a two party system in the country. This is not a democarcy, it is a republic.
Ralph Nader is a egotistical fool.
Besides being more conservative that Reagan, George W. Bush is the worst president our country has ever had. We should be ashamed that his presidency has happened in our lifetimes.

I voted for ralph also. but because I knew CA was going for gore. ahhhh ... the joys of the electorial college. I hope they get bin laden soon, not in like october - cause then it'll be bush in a walk over.
- TransFatty0
yeah i guess democrats are more discreet when they lie and steal from us.

I'm not saying they don't reallocate funds for personal benefits like all politicians, but you can't ignore the facts:
the Bush Administration has consistently misled the American public about Iraq , most significantly regarding Saddam Hussein's possession of weapons of mass destruction and his ties to al Queda and Osama bin Laden, the Bush Administration's regressive environmental policies have lowered cleanliness standards for our air and water, Bush is underfunding education, the Bush Administration's Patriot Act threatens our constitutional rights and civil liberties, Bush's Tax Cuts only benefit the rich, 3.3 million jobs (93,000 in August of 2003 alone) have been lost since Bush took office, Bush is underfunding homeland security while energetic in waging war abroad.

Looking forward to seeing the Nader / AliG videos in circulation when it gets a little closer to voting.
Doesn't Nader start rapping and say Booyakasha Respect at the end??
funny shite

c'mon people, OF COURSE there's a difference between hardline conservatives like Dick Cheney, Rumsfeld and Richard Perle and people like John Kerry and John Edwards. I too would like to see more diversity in The American political spectrum, but at a time when the repubs control the white house AND both houses of congress, and are busy rewriting the redistricting rules to shut out the minority vote, rewriting the constitution, and getting ready to stack the Supreme Court with opponents of civil liberities and a woman's right to choose, this is really NOT the time to vote for someone for making a statement type reasons when the actual end result of that is to keep an group of extreme far-right military types in power. We need more choices to be sure, and that can be achived in the long run, but it's simply too dangerous to leave one party in power for another four years. Fortunately I think the vast majority of people realize that and are pretty much united in their opposition to Bush. Just look at the record turnout in the Democratic primaries and the dismissal (rightly or wrongly) of Dean in favor of rallying around Kerry. At the very least, the anti-Nader backlash will be huge. Of course, what we really need to do is draft Perot to run again:)

what i hate about elections is you really don't know what you're voting for.
the only information we have to go on is what they decide to feed us.
all we have is propaganda.
so i vote for nader. he seems harmless. and he digs trees.

we didn't fucking vote for bush
bush voted for bush

But I think that Nader (and Michael Moore, who talks about this) has a point in that our "two party" system is bullsh!t. There is such little distinction between the two parties. Where have the democrats been these past two years? Cowering in a corner afraid that standing up to the GOP would end their pathetic political career? Bush should be impeached and Nader is the only one I hear saying it.
I don't want Bush to win but I can't stomach this "don't rock the boat" propaganda that gets bandied about.
- lovaboy0
Monkeyshine, I agree with you in principle, but how would you or Ralph Nader propose we go about impeaching Bush? With the Republications controlling the entire system of government, it's impossible. The presidential election is our best chance to send Bush out of power.
- TransFatty0
my prediction.
Bush gets voted out.
Kerry wins and reduces forces in the middle east based on promises made during the election.
Shortly after Kerry gets in ... everyone is happy and in love ...
and then ...
BOOM !
