anyone have experience with the macbook pro touch bar and adobe products? does it work well, or is it still just as gimmicky as what it seemed when announced?

    • Seems entirely redundant for those of us with years and years and years of muscle-memory for shortcuts.face_melter
    • it allows you to measure how high your adobe CC whining levels have reached.fadein11
    • I've haven't even seen one of the new MBPs in the wild, but after seeing that blog post I can say I'd probably use it to modify tools with left handmonospaced
    • @mono-yeah that is what i was thinking. up until i saw the photoshop integration i wasn't really sold on it. if adobe integrates all their programs into this...lvl_13
    • it could end up being quite useful. especially if it's not connected to an external monitor where you have space for all tool panels open.lvl_13
    • For me it's slower. Adobe have implemented it poorly - though maybe it's customisable? Not sure, haven't checked.inteliboy
    • ie. If you select a paintbrush, it'd be cool to just have brush size & softness dials instantly appear - though no, it comes up with an expandable sub-menu.inteliboy
    • So for now it remains a gimmick. None of my music DAWs use it yet either.inteliboy
