Through education, in the UK, for the new MBP with equivalent spec to my 2015 MBP, plus apple care, it's £3200. Non-education would be over £3500. Apple care used to be £59 for education, it's now £150. Dongle, £9, upgrades to SSD, processor, graphics...Bloody madness. That's over £1000 more than what I paid.

Been trying a windows 10 machine the last few days. Fucking hell. Really tried hard to like it, infact I do like it, a lot, but windows 10 is a bastard of a shambles. So it seems Apple have us by the gonads or by the pussy if you're trump.

    • Saying you both like Win10 and it's "bastard of a shambles" is rather contradictory. :)ETM
    • There are aspects of it that I like but overall, it is as stated!craigatkinson
    • what is so good about Apple OS? I wish I got this, I only use Apple nowadays but the OS is nothing special. What do you do?fadein11
    • p.s. see video below.fadein11
    • I didn't say there was anything good about OS. However, the fact it works helps, or at least works compared to W10.craigatkinson
    • not arguing here - just wondering what you hated about windows 10 because all I hear is good things. I'm considering jumping ship also next purchase of laptopfadein11
    • I'd sooner have a vanilla android computer if there was such a thing. I'm sure Google will make a decent chromebook / pixel pro or something soon.craigatkinson
