Every time I charge my Macbook Pro the cord becomes a fire hazard.

    • maybe keep the cord from the fire pit you fucking hippie?lvl_13
    • on a serious note, the cords are pretty shit. especially after a year or so. i've resorted to electrical tape in spots :\lvl_13
    • lol. Mine gets super hot every time I charge.dbloc
    • yeah, mine has started to do that as well. although it's about as hot as when i put the macbook on my lap...especially after running several adobe productslvl_13
    • I use my Macbook cord to bake bread.utopian
    • I don't have a Macbook. Problem solved.sureshot
    • @dbloc i had the same problem, dirt on pins & port induce electric resistance hence the heat. Use a toothbrush, clean that shit out.FixMiller
    • I know this was an Apple recall at some point. They sent my wife a new one for free. You may want to check on this.fyoucher1

    • you're talking about the brick part right? yeah mine gets crazy hot too.HijoDMaite
    • Water's the key. Peel away a bit of the outer plastic cord and place it in a glass of water. Electricity is cooled BEFORE it gets into your computer.Morning_star
